I never said you have to follow a certain agenda, just that I don't understand how anyone could possibly like music that preaches against their sensibilities. I can't listen to Merle Haggard with all of his jingoistic, moralistic lyrics, and likewise, I don't expect his fans could listen to Public Enemy with their embrace of Muslim doctrine. So yes, being a hip-hop conservative is basically oxymoronic to the extreme.

By the way, I listen to both Merle Haggard and Public Enemy, often in the same day.
