I just got ATG

And I thought it was pretty dope. Kurupt sounds hungry on this. And the beats are good, sounds like they put some effort into it. There are a few duds, but those are the songs with DR's second stringers on them like Spider, Eastwood, and even less known rappers.
I think DR & Kurupt are just saying they ain't supporting the record cuz they know it won't go gold/plat for them. Kinda like saving face. As for Kurupt not wanting the "negative" records on ATG, I personally don't know what he's talking about. There aren't many BLATANT disses on there, just some subliminals. But anyhow, Kurupt is at his best when he's mad, IMO. Plus, Dayton Family are on a track which is pretty hot.

i've actually come around on the album.  It's not as bad as I once thought.  Kurupt does his part.
