Firefox Question

I clicked on Firefox yesterday and a little box came up asking about profiles.  I clicked on "Default" but it said this user is already being used.  I had to create a new one and now all my favorites and settings are gone.  Anybody know how to switch back?

   1.  Close Firefox completely (select File > Exit  from the main menu of Firefox).
   2. Select Start > Run... from the Windows Start menu.
   3. Enter firefox.exe -profilemanager and press OK.

I did that, but when I tried to click on my regular profile, I got the same message.

Start over if it's not there and make sure you create a profile.
