This coming weekend I am going to LA for some job interviews and I want to stop by some good record stores like VIP. If anyone could recomend some good places to go and addresses if they know them it would be much appreciated. Thanks

For Music check these places.
Martins Records In W. L.A. on the corner of Pico And Redondo Blvd. Call (323) 411 for the number. Small mom and pop shop
Midnight Records IN W. L.A. on Robertson And National Blvd. Again.. 411. They are in the (310) area code. Mom And Pop shop
Aarons Records in Hollywood on Highland Blvd and Santa Monica. Mainly a Vinyl shop for all types of music. They have a good selection of used hip hop and promo singles
Tower Records On Sunset In Hollywood. They have a great section of imports. Ive found some tight import Warren G and Snoop Singles.
Be sure and check Virgin Mega Store right down the street on Sunset and Cresent Heights. Pop and mainstream music. Kinda pricey.. but if your looking for a HUGE main stream type of Warehouse.. Virgin is a must.
Check out The Universal City Walk
http://www.citywalkhollywood.com/
in Universal City at the top of Lankersheim (spelling) Blvd. Near the Hollywood Bowl.. 101 Fwy and Lankersheim. They have a great social walk way with bars, shops, a great seafood spot.. Gladstones. Movie Theators 8.50 a pop.. and last I checked.. parking was 4 bucks. May have gone up. Tons of people. Great place to site see. And theres s Virgin Mega Store there too.
Also if you liks Sushi.. cant forget to hit up Sushi On Sunset in Hollywood. Nice Trendy spot. Low light and endless bottles of wine.
Hit up Penny Lane in Westwood for great used CDs. I used to live there. Theres one in Venice Beach too.
Off the top.. that's all I got. Others from L.A. can add to this. There is endless stuff to do and I would be typing forever.
Oh yea, VIP Records on MLK and PCH in Long Beach. Grab a T-Shirt while your there. Another Mom and pop record shop. Dont think VIP is this MAGICAL place of wonder. Its just a little bit bigger then a hole in the wall.

go to Yury's Records in South Gate, between Lynwood and Huntington Park. Its on Tweedy Blvd and San Miguel Ave. They got all of Cypress Hill records for around 10 bucks. ALL OF THEM
