Darius Miles is an excellent perimiter defender, imagine how much pressure he can take off of Kobe on the defensive end alone since he's capable of guarding players like Paul Pierce, T-Mac, Tayshaun Prince, LeBron James, Dwyane Wade etc. Then his offense is an added bonus! Phil loves these types of players...If the trade is Chris Mihm + Aaron McKie for Darius Miles + #30 Pick (as rumored), I'm doing it in a second! We'd have our SG through C spots set. Then all we'd need to concentrate on is a veteran PG to sign with the MLE...Miles is also probably the most talent we're gunna get for Mihm, if we decide to trade him that is...PeaCe

Bust? I'm sorry, last time I checked, 14 PPG (47% FG), 1 block, 1 steal, 5 rebounds, 2 assists wasn't considered a bust...His numbers are comparable to Tayshaun Prince. His defense is excellent, he has mid-range and slashing game, ability to play and guard multiple positions, great small forward for the tri...Remember when Odom and Miles were considered the future of the Clippers? Well, now we can have Odom AND Miles and it's the future...But only we have Kobe!...It would be a great trio, imagine the combination of athleticism and length in our starting line-up...

well I consider anyone who was predicted to be a future star and turned out to be just a regular nigga a bust. I don't hesitate to call someone a bust. you don't have to be d-league material to be a bust. just hella overrated and someone who has never lived up to the expectations. 3rd pick from high school and never making noise on horrible, horrible teams during a good number of years = certified bust. still a good trade for the lakers.
