2007/2008 Laker Schedule
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/teams/schedule?team=lal
# L.A. opens at home Oct. 30 in Houston.
# The team goes on the road for a brutal nine-game road trip - including three back-to-backs - between Jan 31 and Feb 13.
# No. 1 pick Greg Oden and the Blazers make their first appearance in STAPLES on Feb. 29 (yeah, it's a leap year).
# No. 2 pick Kevin Durant and the Sonics show up in STAPLES on Jan. 14.
# Rivalry renewed? Lakers are in Boston to meet up with KB and Co. on Nov. 23.
# Lakers are in Utah to play the Jazz on Nov. 30. Could be an emotional night for D Fish.
# Jan 27 kicks off ABC's Sunday broadcasts, which will feature Kobe's Lakers vs. LeBron Cavs. This game is preceeded by Chicago/Phoenix.
# The Lakers make 33 appearances on national TV, including NBATV broadcasts.

^^Only 2 of our 16 back-to-back games are home...Brutal. :-\
wcsoldier:
This schedule is TOUGH :-\... big teams to begin with , a 9 games road trip in February ... with the current team we'll be lucky to reach 45 wins

Juan Carlos Navarro will play for the Memphis Grizzlies. El Mundo
I'm hearing that all sides have agreed in principle to a deal that would send Juan Carlos Navarro's NBA rights from Washington to Memphis in exchange for a lottery protected first round pick. Paperwork with Navarro's Spanish team, Barcelona, needs to be finished and the NBA has to review the deal as well to make things official (I hear that is why the "deadline" was pushed back). Washington Post
---------------
In other words: No Gasol (the real one) for the Lakers.
Antonio_:
Obviously. Great acquisition by the Logo. I told y'all he was good, you didn't trust me.
