I Just wanted To see Coby Karl get some playing Time.  8)
That "Slam Dunk" Was worth the Wait, & That Pass To Ronny Was Sweeet.

I want More blowout's so Coby can get more game (NBA) Experience.

Great Road trip, Although Like lamar Said, 9 & 0 should have been the record.

^Brewer was so fucking overrated going into this years draft...Gerald Green >>>>> Corey Brewer. Like Stu said, why the hell doesn't Green get more PT? It's not like the Wolves are going anywhere. Might as well develop your young talent while you can. Dumbass muthafuckaz.

kobe bryant was voted as the most intimidating player by fellow nba players.

Which opposing player scares you the most to play against?

Kobe Bryant, Lakers G...... 35%
Shaquille O'Neal, Suns C...... 12%
Kevin Garnett, Celtics F...... 6%
LeBron James, Cavs F...... 4%
Dwight Howard, Magic C...... 4%
Allen Iverson, Nuggets G...... 4%
Tim Duncan, Spurs F...... 4%
Steve Nash, Suns G...... 4%
Tracy McGrady, Rockets G...... 2%
Dirk Nowitzki, Mavericks F...... 4%

[Based on a survey of 242 NBA Players]

FAST FACTS: Poll was completed before O'Neal was traded from the Heat to the Suns last week.... Bryant particularly unnerves forwards, who gave him more than 41% of their vote.... Among players 35 and older, 63% voted for Bryant, who led the league in points, field goals and field goal attempts this season, as well as the last two.

LAKERS ASSIGN COBY KARL TO D-FENDERS

The Los Angeles Lakers have assigned guard Coby Karl to the Los Angeles D-Fenders of the NBA Development League, it was announced today by General Manager Mitch Kupchak.

Karl, who became the 11th NBA player assigned to a D-League affiliate this season on November 28, played 10 games with the D-Fenders, averaging 18.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists in 38.4 minutes while shooting .435 from three-point range and .492 from the field.

Karl is expected to play tonight at Tulsa, Sunday at Rio Grande Valley and Tuesday at home against Tulsa.

Signed by the Lakers as a free agent on July 30, 2007, Karl has appeared in 11 games this season, averaging 1.3 points and 0.9 rebounds in 3.7 minutes.

The 6’5” guard from Boise State averaged 14.8 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.0 assists as a senior and was named First Team All-WAC. Karl’s 1,698 career points ranks third on Boise State’s all-time scoring list while leaving Boise State as the all-time leader in games played (127) and three-pointers made (266).

Lakers' center Chris Mihm has heel surgery

February 13, 2008

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Los Angeles Lakers center Chris Mihm underwent surgery Wednesday to remove a screw from his right heel.

His recovery time is expected to be about six weeks, the team said.

Mihm has been sidelined with right ankle problems for several weeks. He's averaged 4.1 points and 3.7 rebounds in 19 games this season.

Coach Phil Jackson, speaking before the team's game at Minnesota, said it's possible Mihm will be ready in time for the playoffs. Mihm missed all of last season while recovering from surgeries on his right ankle, which he injured badly two years ago to keep him out of the 2006 playoffs.

Jackson said he's hopeful the latest surgery will be the solution to keeping the 28-year-old Mihm healthy over the long-term.

"We're happy he's working toward another angle," Jackson said.

Channel 7 news is saying that a doctor has recommended surgery for Kobe's finger which would put him out for 6 weeks... So far Kobe has said no.

Kobe will be back, he's been playing in that Condition For Most of The road trip
he should defo, No question skip All-Star weekend as a player, Let B. Davis take His spot...

And Rest his hand the best he could, Bottmeline is Kobe will play in this condition It will Not Stop him.
It's up to The Laker's if they wanna Play him or Not.

It won't change a thing.
Shit If I was Kobe i'd skip The U.S. team as well, But hey I'm Sitting here at my computer & Kobe is the best in the world.

i say he should have the surgery and be out 6 weeks instead of re-aggravating it time and time again i seen the game when it looked like kobe bryant had no knuckle and its on his shooting hand?? that pain and inflammation will persist if he dont get that shit taken care of asap lakers without kobe can still compete for the playoffs now with gasol
