the 'estate' may milk it for what it can.. depends on how dre's looked upon in 40 or so years time.. (if he makes 80...)

I don't think he would do it because he doesn't give a shit. Thousands of fans would be forever grateful if he did, but he doesn't give a fuck.

No, I think he's too much of a perfectionist to release a Lost Tapes album. The only material he releases is considered "top-notch" in his opinion (and he's right 95-99% of the time), so there's a certain consistency in his method. So by releasing a Lost Tapes album (which would most likely contain tracks that are not considered top-notch - otherwise he would've released them, right?) he would kinda degrade his reputation.

That's how I see it...

I highly doubt that he would ever do it although it would be huge. I would love to hear Dre Day 2. The only way we would ever hear something is if he ever died and his wife were to put something out.

I think he's just gonna take what's left and give them to other artists as beats.
Dre leftovers> a lot of beats out there
