What does speed and bringing spark do to an offfense though.  I want to see productivity.  Id rather have 9 Dejesus' or 9 bradleys over 9 pierres

damn didn't u watch the 2003 playoffs?   without Pierre the Marlins don't win.... he stole bases, bunted and all that shit

for 3 straight years he had like 200 hits and a gang of stolen bases.......... I just think it would more creativy and difference rather than an occasional homerun

Bradley always had more potential but never fully put it together.  Pierre is the better all around ball player.

03 marlins had fantastic pitching an amazing infield, and the emergence of Cabrera.  Teams win because they score runs.  My god, a healthy bradley is a better player than Pierre...its not really taht difficult to see.

I still think pierre is the better all around ball player.  You have to look at the intangbles pierre brings to the table.  With the speed he has, he's a spark plug when he gets on base things happen.  You dont have that same affect with bradley.  Plus bradley's attitude could be detrimental to a team.  Also the Pierre has proven he can stay healthy.  he has played everyday the past 3 seasons.  Bradley only has one healthy season under his belt.  On the field performance power wise Bradley has this by a long shot but his power isnt to impressive but its a nice stat.  He can hit for doubles though.  Speed wise it's not even close Pierre is one of the fastest in the league.  Glove wise its a push.  Both have great gloves an get jumps on the ball but pierre is gold glove caliber.  Arm wise my sister throws harder then pierre and bradley has a great arm.  Small, Pierre is very good. You cant ask for a ball player to be better at small ball like pierre.  I cant speak for Bradley on that b/c i have seen a lot more of Pierre then i have Bradley.

Exactly, WHEN he gets on base, which he hardly ever does. He can't hit, can't get on base, has a horrible arm in CF. All he can do is run. Bradley>Pierre. A Furby>Pierre

Plus his name sucks.

I think what the player has done in the most recent season is a better example to go by.

But you're right about one thing, he does suck.

Only 2004 he was an above average player, and all the rest of his years hes been below average.  Id rather see the Dodgers Trade for Jason Michaels

These are his OPS+   (100 being Average, > above average, <below average

2000- 55
2001- 89
2002- 65
2003- 98
2004- 107
2005- 84

That puts him at a career 87 OPS+ player.  The amount of SB's he gets doesnt make up for his value to a team

Now Delgado doesn't come on to the field until after the national athem & doesn't stand for God Bless America. I wonder how that's going to go over in New York?

he stands for the national anthem, he dont stand for god bless america.  But he told the team he'll do what they want him too.  But moist mets fans could give 2 shits as long as he hits the ball. ive only come across a couple of people that dont like him at b/c of that.  But those people i can count on one hand.
