First off..Nas started things by saying "Are you H to the Izzo M to the Izzo, you phony the rapping version of Sisqo".Second off-I dont agree with what R Kelly did (or supposedly did)..and Nas worked with R Kelly in the past so how is that different than Jay working with R Kelly--considering Jay was working with R BEFORE the scandal as well. Also, Nas was supposed to be all about real rap music--but then he tours with teeny bopper acts and does remixes with 3LW and Brandy---OKAY.
ok ok...but here is my questions...why russel simmons???
By the way Jay Z is one of the most poppy rappers out there.
1st off - No one knows 4 sure who started the beef. But if Nas did then good on him. Cause somebody had to stop Jay Z from saying that he was the best and better than Biggie. 2nd off - If your got a beef with another rapper and his releasing an album with an accused pedophile, tell me ur not gonna diss him because of it. Tell me Jay Z wouldn't do the same thing.Thirdly - As long as Nas keeps putting out his dope lyrics i dont care if he does a couple of songs with these brandy etc. and i don't care who he tours with either. By the way Jay Z is one of the most poppy rappers out there. Jay Z is hardcore man.
Second-if Jay Z did this album after the child molestion charge thatd be one thing, but it was worked on and completed BEFORE it..just like Nas worked with R Kelly BEFORE it. What's so hard to understand about this?
but the album was released AFTER the charge. Understand that
What? So Jay Z is supposed to halt the CD coming out--he cant do that. It is also very evident that Jay Z is concerned about this situation, cos if he wasnt Im sure there wouldve been a Best of Both Worlds video. Bottom line is, BOBW was sunk before it even got a chance and thats a shame for Jay-cos he's the real victim here. At least Jay Z has the hot "Song Cry" video which is receiving a lot of airlplay. Also, MTV has reported that Blueprint has sold 2.02 millin copies officially now..
Yo, Peep what i just found from toogangsta......In the war of words Nas is ahead by a great margin. In other related Nas news Suge Knight, CEO of Tha Row, have had numerous meetings, phone conversation, and discussions with Nas to apparently work together. What could come out of this? Stay tuned and find out.
The quality of an album doesn't depend on how much the album has sold. You've got to understand that. LOL at Jay Z being the real victim, what the fuck is up with that? That is the stupidest thing i have ever heard. By the way i like Jay Z, i own reseanable dobut cd, so please dont call me a jay z hater. I dont hate Jay Z.
How is Jay not a victim? This R Kelly scandal has killed his momentum. As far as me being a Jay Z dickrider--this board is chocked full of Nas dick riders and I find it ridicilous. My favorite rappers are Snoop/Twista/Dre/Eminem/etc, etc. There are so many artists I like over Nas, but truth be told Jigga is way better.
your the one defending Jay Z for everythingyour the one gettin worried about Jay Z's "fame"your the one always bringing up that Jay Z is better than NasSounds like your the Jay Z dickrider
Okay-First things first-if this girl was raped and underage of course shes a victim. But again, Jay Z is a victim..bottom line. This is effecting his album sales thus making him a victim. Not a hard concept, esse or however you people spell it. And yes, Jay is better than Nas but whatever-I'll stop bringing up the obvious.
