just watched it wit my family the other day.
havent read the book but i was surprised how allegorically influenced the story is. theres so much references to the bible.
ill list a few from the top of my head
-the obvious referring to the kids as the sons and daughters of adam and eve
-the ultimate sacrifice of aslan and jesus to save others
-the resurrection of jesus and aslan and the stone covering jesus' tomb and the stone tablet aslan died that cracked
-peter being the first disciple and king peter in the movie
-jesus going to the mountain to pray by himself before being taken away and aslan walking off to the mountain by himself
-the torture and scorning of jesus and aslan before dying
