I recently read something on Ras Kass, may have even been on his own site, that out of Dr Dre's favourite rappers, he was the only one not on a major label or went platinum(it was one or the other, can't remember). Apparently Dre mentioned his fave ones on TV. Does anyone know more about this? And more specifically, does anyone know who his other favourites are/were?

yeah Dre did mention Ras as one of his top 5 that was asked of most hip hop leaders by MTV a few years back..others were Rakim and Kool G rap..I cant quite remember who else were the other 2 but Ras was like number 3 or something..Ras uses that quote alot..
