no its different. the video one was still produced by the rza
-
ok heres the difference...the OG is the album one...no mary j but still dope...the rza mix is the first one w/ mary which has a bit different sound to it...almost doesnt sound like as good of quality...not bad but not the greatest...the puffy mix is the one most ppl have heard...the beats a bit different but better and meth rips his verses a little hard and pronounces them a little better lol...all in all you've probably heard all 3 and didnt realize it...it took me a long time to figure out that there were 3 different versions :P

Puffy's Mix was the one you heard on the radio, the same version that won the grammy. Puff's has that little biggie clip at the begining like "high toghter, ride toghter, i swear to god I hope we fuckin die toghter."
The original version of the song was on Meths album produced by Rza, then when the CD single dropped with the Puff daddy mix Rza did a remix also called the "Razor Sharp Mix" which I, being more a wu head, thought was the dope'r remix of the two. I picked up the single a few years back if anyone wants to hear it.. classic shit :)

o ok, i herd the remix, i like that wit mary, she adds a nice sound

yeah she does...and i love the sample they use where the guy says "high together, ride together, i swear to god i hope we fuckin die together"
-
yea def, it fits perfectly, it is method man,
-
^^ Na, dude just told you that's Biggie. Listen close to it.
Maybe the Rza remix had the original version of the song, and not mary. The o.g. version sounded almost like Mary, I think it was Tami Terrell and Marvin Gaye, Tami sounds just like Mary J. Blige.
I think the puff remix is the best, puffy gets slept on (LOL) nah, I'm serious, puffy has decent talent, nobody ever recognizes that the beats he actually did produce are decent.

the og version didnt have any R&B in it...it just had meth in the chorus sayin "you're all that i need i'll be there for you"
