what happen to the DMX cd that was suppose to drop in decemeber it's not a game or whatever? did he just scrap it
-
This is that CD.
-
^^^^Yeah, he obviously decided to change the title.
-
Can't wait for it, too. It will definitely be one of the best releases this year. But I think "It's Not A Game" is a cooler titel, especially because it's his last album and he always used this words in his songs. But I think "Grand Champ" is a very good description, so it doesn't matter which one he chooses :D
-
what's up with the tracks that he recorded with rage against the machine...are those going to be on there, one of them was supposed to appear on the crade to tha grave soundtrack but i don't think it did...what's up with them tracks?
peace.
-
is that his last cd??
-
^^^Is it REALLY has last one? I don't listen to much DMX, but I never heard him say this would be his last...
-
There were many parts of interviews, etc, where he said, that the music-industry is fucked and that's the reason he don't wanna do music no more. But don't know why he launched an own label, if he wanna quit.

he probably gonna be workin on the behind the scenes shit...like signing new artists...workin with em...and making movies or somethin...he was talkin about how he sold like 3-4 million copies everytime he droppin an album but wouldn't get payed as much...while he makes alot more amount of money when he does movies...
-
There was also stuff about him wanting to dedicate his time to his family and reading the Bible. Somewhere it was also mentioned that he wanted to be a preacher, but I don't know 'bout that...
Also if I remember right, he mentioned in a piece by MTV that the rock tracks wouldn't be on the album, but he didn't mention any specific reason.
-
yeaaa, dmx was on bet talking about this is his last record cause i think he want to spend time with his family, but i think hes still gonna be doin movies, possibly a soundtrack to them..... wtf dmx a preacher,, lol
