The Grammy's is always about business. They never give it to albums too contraversial unless they need that album and albums like it to sell. This year they may want more hip hop sles so Kanye may get it, who knows. What I do know is that of 5 moninated for album of the year Kanye definately has the least talent. The only place he is truly gifted in is convincing the masses he has talent, and a lot of it. Sometimes I wish I was Mike Myers so I could punched him square in the jaw on the NBC special. (off topic, burt I had to say it again).

I would bet my life that I could that guy's ass. I'm 6'2'', 230 lbs, and I can still run the 40 in 4.6 seconds. I'm well trained in freestyle wrestling and submission fighting, and have done a little boxing. I'm by no means a pro in any of the three, but I could beat up Kanye West.
And Sikotic, since 1970, 11 of the best album awards have gone to black performers. That's 31% in the last 35 years. Considering the black population of the US in 12%, I'd say it's unfair to say that.

I've only listened to two albums from the list above, Late Registration and Chaos and Creation In the Backyard, and I would say Paul's is easily better.
Shit, Paul's is 10 times better than Kanye's. I didn't even like Paul's that much compared to his better albums but it's still a solid album whereas Kanye's was terrible.

I don't think McCartney has ever won a solo Grammy for best album so it may be Grammy for your career time. I think Stefani sold the most so she might get it for that. I wonder if Mariah wins will Kanye bitch about it since they're both black and she has many friends in the hip hop world.

These guys get crumbs compared to what their organization makes. If an individual can generate a ridiculous amount of income then they deserve to be compensated accordingly. If you doing your thing generated 10 million, dont you think you should get at least 10% of that? If Shaq gets a 90 million dollar contract, please believe whoever is paying him is making at least 10x that off merchandise and product liscensing.

I know what you're saying. Yes, the label takes alot of their earnings, but that's what labels do. They promote your record and get it played on stations and in return they make a ton of money off of you. If they got a problem with it they can go independant. The fact of the matter is they do make alot based on the label's benefits i.e. concerts, endorsements, etc.
They're all spoiled and bitch, that's all. I'd switch places with them any day of the week.
