50 Cent appeared on WQHT today and challenged the station, The Source Magazine and other artist. In perhaps his most surprising interview of this year 50 called into Hot97 to set the record straight on his thoughts on a few things like the signing of former Pastor and Harlem bred rapper Murder Mase and more. 50 cent was challenged by morning show host Miss Jones on a recent mixtape he produced for a Mase track that has lyrics that she feels advocate the killing of Children. 50 cent said he did not advocate it but it was something that was really happening in the streets, the host said the end of the song had a chorus that lyrically called for it as a tactic. 50 Cent said, “don’t challenge me but the station needs to challenge itself and not play his music”. 50 clarified that he was not saying don’t play any of his music but that his Mixtape music was geared for thugs and other street urchins not radio. So while the song may be dangerous the station is irresponsible by playing it. The host agreed.
50 main purpose was to address rumors involving other artist. 50 Cent said that Mase will be making violent music again to show his other side before his ministers duties and that is what G-Unit will focus on for the artist.50 feels that offers a more complete Mase image and it will be true to him, he said he hope to just reach a portion of the Mase fans that once brought 4 million copes of the music. 50 Cent also addressed the rumor that he has stopped Styles P album from coming out and in fact he wants to make Jadakiss next album.
50 said that he wears his nickname Curtis Interscope Jackson as a badge of honor and that he does have a lot of influence in Interscope, so much influence that he has stopped Dr.Dre from working on The Games new album. Game new album entitled The Doctors Advocate would not feature any appearance of 50 Cent and his former G-Unit group members or any production from Dre.”The Game already knows this and decided to keep the name of the album the same as not to cause a stir” but there will be no Dre production on it because of the feud with he and Game.
50 said he has no compassion because nobody had compassion for him growing up but he was looking for any feuds and said that he had no plans to challenge Jay z and hopes that he and Nas work together. Morning Show Host Miss Jones than asked to work with 50 Cent in the future and if it was possible that she could get signed. 50 Did not agree but Hot97 and 50 announced their 10,000 dollar giveaway promotion and that the two were united in distrust against the Source Magazine who did a unflattering feature on both hot97 Payola and the G-Unit camp in the latest magazine on stands now.

what happened is that Dre obviously doesn´t give a fuck about some new comer kid tryin to tell him what to do and what not to do. lmao what the fuck is 50 gonna say when Game´s album comes out with Dre joints on it? and Game has already confirmed that he´s done 6 joints with Dre already so it just looks like 50 is tryin to make both Game and Dre look stupid but in the end it could end up backfiring on him.

That's a fair point though... Last week, 50 was saying Game got blackballed, this week he's saying the album will come out but Dre ain't working on it. This pretty much proves how much truth there is in what 50's saying. I bet you, in June 2006 we'll have a brand new Game album with 7 Dre produced tracks, and 14 mixed by Dre. Fuck 50 and all the shit he's been talking, just trying to stay in the news.

Even if 50 had the power he thinks he has, he's stupid for crowing about it because even if Dre has his back over Game, Dre aint gonna like this.
Still, Dre is a big fish, he won't have to say or do anything publicly. He's going to make money off 50 next few albums just like he makes money off Game's... Once 50's contract is up then he can make a move, but until then, let 50 do what he wants, it's all money to Dre anyway.
They way it sounds to me is that Iovine is souping up 50 telling him "you're our main man" or something and 50 believeing it without realizing that once a sub par selling album drop, anotha artist is gonna be told that same thing.

Interscope was about to claim bankruptcy before Death Row came along. Maybe picking up Aftermath kept them in the rap world but once Interscope banked off of Death Row, they became pretty much a rock label with a couple rap acts.

50 Cent Says Dre's Not Working With Game, Paramount Pulls Ads

50 Cent reiterated earlier this week that super producer Dr. Dre will not be collaborating with The Game on The Doctor’s Advocate, the Compton neophyte’s second album.
In an interview with Miss Jones and the Hot 97 morning show, 50 Cent drastically countered claims by The Game, who has already started on his sophomore effort.
“He [Dr. Dre] knows what the kid [The Game] just did and that’s it. I’m not working on [The Game’s new album] and he’s not working on it,” said 50 Cent. “He’s just got to go in and make good records. Of course, he’ll probably name [his album The Doctor’s Advocate] to make people think [Dre] is involved.”
The Game has already contradicted 50’s claims when discussing The Doctor’s Advocate.
"It's the same format at The Documentary. If it aint broke don't fix it," Game told AllHipHop.com. "I am still with Dre and I'm working with some of the best producers.”
Despite his rival’s contention, 50 Cent said that his personal conversations Dr. Dre, his history with The Game and his contributions to The Documentary project were reason enough not to work with the Compton rapper.
“I’ve had communications with Dre since [he appeared on the BBC radio]. My reason for saying it is…nobody can take anything away from Dre. We don’t have any issues,” 50 said. “See, Dre knows exactly how much I did for Game’s project. I wrote six songs on his album. Three of them are his first three singles and I was on the records to make people listen to them.”
Game vehemently denied that 50 Cent wrote six songs, but maintained that they did collaborate creatively.
“We got an understanding. Everything is good,” 50 said.
In related news, Paramount has removed posters advertising 50 Cent’s new movie “Get Rich or Die Tryin’,” that featured the rapper brandishing two handguns.
The posters drew the wrath of various community groups in Los Angeles, California, who said the posters were insensitive due to the rise in gun violence in urban communities.

Personally, I do think Dre's in the twilight of his days as far as being an artist. He's probably good for more solo, which I doubt will do the chronic or chronic 2001 numbers. So I wouldnt be super suprised if Interscope was looking at 50 and gunit records as the next big money maker. However 50 is a fad, and everything he has is directly attached to his name. So the second its over for 50.. its over for every business venture, gunit records, his crew everyone will be done. It seems funny to me about 50 bossing people around though cause I thought the chain went some thing like:

Dr. Dre and Aftermath Entertainment have nothing to do with Shady Records and G-Unit Records apart from Eminem and 50 Cent being signed. I don't know why so many people think this.
