Los Angeles, CA: The administration of THC significantly reduces lung tumor size and lesions, according to preclinical data presented this week at the annual meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) in Los Angeles.
Investigators at Harvard University's Division of Experimental Medicine reported that THC inhibited the growth and spread of cells in vitro from two different lung cancer cell lines and from patient lung tumors. They also reported that THC administration reduced the growth of lung tumors in mice by more than 50 percent compared to untreated controls over a three-week period.
Researchers noted that THC appeared to block a specific cancer-causing protein in a manner similar to the pharmaceutical anti-cancer drugs Erbitux (Cetuximab) and Vectibix (Panitumumab).
Results of a large-scale, case-controlled population study published last year found that smoking cannabis, even long-term, is not positively associated with increased incidence of lung-cancer. Investigators in that study noted that one subset of moderate lifetime users had an inverse association between cannabis use and lung cancer, leading them to speculate that cannabinoids may possess certain protective properties against the development of lung cancer in humans.
Separate preclinical studies indicate that compounds in marijuana inhibit cancer cell growth in animals and in culture on a wide range of tumoral cell lines *-- including human breast carcinoma cells, human prostate carcimona cells, and human colectoral carcinoma cells, among others. Most recently, investigators at Madrid's Complutense University, School of Biology, reported in the British Journal of Cancer that THC administration decreases recurrent glioblastoma multiforme (brain) tumor growth in patients diagnosed with the disease.

anyway, since then most of my friends with scripts say that clubs are way more likely to just want to give you some eighths and products as opposed to O's and shit because of that. earth collective for example.

I need to turn it off' then I walked up to the stereo, turned it off, then I stripped and jumped in the shower while my girlfriend was freaking like "Baby? are you okay? Baby?"
then i got out the shower, and smoked some bowls to chill out and get back to normal.

After a few seconds, I felt like I was sliding off the bench uncontrollably, like the ground was sucking me in, but I was sitting completely still. It almost felt like a shroom body high, with a less controlled mind-state. It wears off quick as fuck though...David is a cool dude, I should save this salvia for him if he really likes it that much...8)

Yeah David might just be my oldest friend. His girl is...new is probably the best way to put it. I don't know her that well, but David hasn't had that many women in his life so any that he gets I'm determined to give 'em a chance.

I went there on a high school trip, and i was trippin hard off that fry. going on all the haunted house rides, the roller coasters, carousels and shit. haha. I went to my 5 thousand post and cut and pasted the entire list from there and then I went through my PMs and found all the people I've had cool conversation with there, and then I went through all my recent 'show responses to my post' threads and made sure to add anyone who was cool to me in those posts AND I went to the main g spot and west coast forum page and just scrolled through a bunch of shit to look for names that reminded me of good connotations or was just looking for names of cats I remembered that were cool so it's like every one that was propped on my 6000 post, I made a conscious ass decision to shout them, you know?

Yea...I try to smoke in sessions, so that I actually get the feel of my high... I don't really like weed around me ALL the time. I try to limit myself to 2-4 times a day...I can't understand people who casually smoke bowls alllll day long and can't even remember how many times they've smoked, or if they're even high for that matter. i'm like that sometimes, sometimes it's not about getting high but staying comfortable. my stomach and head get reall irritable without herb most of the time. that's gonna be the biggest challange about the next month.
anyway, also I've been like that cause I just love the taste of herb so much I'll smoke a grip even when I don't need to get high/alleviate pain. I like smoking and I like herb's taste.
