We're back with Part 2 of our exclusive four-part interview with Snoop Dogg. Part 1 recieved tremendous feedback, as this is probably one of the most honest and in-depth interviews we've seen with Tha Doggfather. Snoop Dogg & Dubcnn - The Interview: Part 2
In Part 2, we start off with the question about the Western Conference, and Snoop speaks on the beef between The Game and Spider Loc. He really expands on the subject of West Coast unity and why it's so important right now.
We also talk about the unity he's trying to create between the Black & the Brown, because you can't bring the West Coast back if you don't involve the Crips, the Bloods and the Ese's, as he says. He also speaks on his song "My Peoples, and why he shouted out all those people, even if he didn't know them.
The part that's probably gonna get most people talking is when he speaks on Crooked I. We also speak about Bad Lucc, who's been shining on the Western Union tracks, as well as the Warzone group, and what he thinks of people saying MC Eiht is washed up.
Be on the lookout for Part 3 coming next Tuesday or Wednesday, where we go in detail about The Game, "Blue Carpet Treatment", how it feels to be back in the hood, and most importantly and probably the most controversial part of the whole interview, we speak about Dr. Dre and "Detox".

Snoop spittin that realness about Crooked I. Dont agree with him about not liking his raps though. Crooked played himself. He should have never dissed snoop just cuz Suge told em too. He will extend a hand to help Suge but you can't squash the beef with Crooked? I understand Crook got himself in a fucked up situation with DR and it is tough for him to get a fair hand shake and start fresh with another label, but damn Snoop. Crooked I is still one of the coldest rappers out here. Support the movement, he ain't got no beef with nobody. Fuck it, I still support him, whenever his album will come out. ;)

It's no beef, but you can tell Crooked I is a very touchy subject to Snoop.

Can't front on Snoop for speakin' his mind, but I gotta say Crooked got them skills man... He could come with some dope shit to make Snoopy change his whole view on dude. (On a side note: shouldn't Snoop just show Crook support and wish him the best, offer help and whatnot with this whole "West as one" ideology instead of making him look inferior?)
Also Snoop really seems to take charge and show he's boss - might seem arrogant to talk like that about some people, but I also gotta respect the fact that he lays down the whole story and doesn't circle around some issues or say some shit like "fuck that nigga". Don't agree with everything he's saying there, but that's alright - I got love for the man as always.
This talking big could come back to haunt him though, if he doesn't accomplish anything for the West that is... He's talking boss now, sure, but will he also act boss and get results? Remains to be seen, but I certainly hope he can do it. Don't prove me wrong Snoop. If he can really back all that talk up, he can really be called Boss Dogg or King of the West or whatever.
Anyways, props again Nima. Got me wishing it's time for part 3 already. 8)

Exactly. Crooked I hasn't released 1 fucking thing. Even the few things that got floated as possible singles were shit compared to his best stuff.
When you talk about a great rapper you talk about a few things, you talk about flow, lyrical content, their voice, their affiliation, their past, etc. and a couple other things you talk about are 'can this motherfucker sell a record'
Since Snoop is killing him in a couple of those categories, I think he's got the right to say fuck crooked I. he ain't even takin' it that far... but Crooked wanted to be a little puppet and do exactly what Suge told him to do, now Snoop's supposed to be his best friend? Shit i don't blame him for talking a little shit, even if it was respectful, lol.
BTW, Kurupt in his prime was most definately sicker than Crooked I has ever been. Crooked I was incredible but Kurupt on top was probably the greatest (for about 5 minutes)

battle rappers arent always the best rappers.
theres alot of good west coast battle rappers that aint even seen light of day.. crooked i is one of them. he's aiight and he got nice lyrics. But i don't think the world will catch on to him to be a star.
IMO crooked sounds robotic. He doesn't have the personality to hold weight.. The only time i seen him have some personality was when he was mocking snoop.
And ofcourse Snoop aint going to reach out for the self-proclaimed 'mouth piece' of Suge Knight.

Crook was on the radio a few years back with Suge out east, remember that? He did a 'freestyle' off the top of his head and it was the same 'freestyle' he'd done somewhere else. Line up "The Shiznit", a true freestyle according to Dre and Snoop, with any 'freestyle' crook's ever done, and crook gets murdered. "Pimp slapp'd" or whatever might have been the first time Crooked was mentioned on a record, but they'd been talkin' shit in interviews and on the front page of 'tharow.com' or whatever their webpage was for YEARS, don't act like snoop singled the guy out. As for Snoop and Eazy, even if it was a similar thing goin' on, in the end Snoop Doggy Dogg became the biggest rapper alive. Crooked I is unheard of and stupid enough to stay signed to a label that's been dead for 10 years? Are you fucking kidding me?

Snoop got some things fucked up, don't get me wrong I respect him and this whole WestCoast movement but what he said about Crooked I and he basicly said like "I ain't feeling him 'cause he ain't from Long Beach", he could've said the exact same thing about Game, Game might be from Compton but he never banged neither while he actually claimed to do that, while Crooked I never said he gang banged as far as I'm concerned, plus what he said about Spider Loc, Spider Loc got G-Unit West it might be not as big as this Snoop thing, but look who're riding with them, you got Ras Kass, Young Hootie, Big Syke, Bigfoot, Mr. Criminal... even Cartoon who Snoop showed a lot of love for, and then I ain't even talking about how big G-Unit Crip is, sure it's not a gang like some of y'all think, but it are all Crips who are fucking with G-Unit, most of y'all don't understand it... it's like you can't bang 2 things, so they put it together then you get G-Unit Crip, all crips and they are all G-Unit... plus Spider was the one who stepped up for Kam while DJ Quik was being disrespectfull towards Kam and acted like he didn't know him, while Kam is a legend just like Quik, the only difference is that Kam is more underground then Quik is, I think that this westcoast thing would be a lot better and bigger with other people then those who Snoop fucks with, Kam should def be a big part of it and Soopafly as well... but other then that I think Brasil Street should play a big part in it, just as BAYMAAC... They got the best rappers outta the west right now, plus the realest.. sure Tray Deee and them are real, but look at how fake people like Daz and Kurupt are, they are good as rappers don't get me wrong, but they should try to keep it real.
