He's literally incredible.. the first half was plain nuts. It was like a movie in which they exaggerate everything.. Lol.. it's not just his tremendous numbers with his insane FG%, but also the way he moves on the floor, the way he varies his speed when he penetrates, the way he can see the open man and give exact passes when he's double and triple teamed, how athletic he is, how fast his fingers are, how he can jump, everything.

I couldnt believe the shit I saw last night...The one dunk he had off the steal, and he takes off inside the free throw line and just fuckin hammers it down...Hes so fuckin sick its unreal.  That AllyOop he caught from the sideline and slammed with one hand was rediculous too.

Here we go again.. ;D

Once again, i think the dude proved he can play basketball and he got skills. That's not questionable.
But there are other things who makes a player "the best player in th league"..

1) he has to be a leader for his team and carry the team over his shoulder when it's a win-or-go-home game.
2) he has to be good not only playing for a wack team, but playing with other players as good as him.

About point 1, we gotta wait till he'll make the Play-Offs (if he will)
About point 2, just remember T-Mac..

What you just said helps prove my point even more... ;)

The best thing about LeBron is that he makes everyone else on his team better, and hes carrying that whole team on his back...Last Year there was no doubt in my mind that Kobe was the best player, but after seeing the Lakers this year, and the Cavs, Im going with LJ...Dont get me wrong, Kobe is having a great year, but hes no LeBron....And thats pretty evident.  LeBron has something in him, when you watch him play it looks like he can do anything he wants out there, and he owns defenders...I havnt seen anyone play like that since u know who back in the late 80's early 90's

all I can say about being a leader and all is that how great this whack ass roster of the cavs is doing, is really amazing. apart from mc innis, z and gooden I sometimes cant even believe that the other dudes made the NBA, sometimes Im even jealous cause I think if I put in more effort I could stand there. lol.. damn their bench sucks balls so hard. Newble is a joke too.
still, apart from the clearly superior Heat (Shaq, Wade, Eddie..) they're the best team in the EC, which proves how sick LeBron is. Playoffs for Cavs? I say definitely.

LMAO...How is Kobe not a leader? Look at most of the players on the Lakers such as Chris Mihm who have heavily improved their game with Kobe on their team...Quit speaking out of your ass...LeBron is another T-Mac, another Vince Carter, another Jerry Stackhouse...He's no where near the level of Kobe...Kobe has already proven his greatness, and some people who don't understand the game base greatness on stats...Stats don't define greatness...LeBron James is a good player, but putting him on Kobe's level when he came into the league supposed to be the "next Kobe" is an insult...But you people will never understand... :-X

Oh, and even if you are looking at stats…Kobe averages more points, rebounds, assists, and blocks per game…I wonder who's better?

He needs WAY more possessions than LeBron does to achieve that.

That might have been an exaggeration, but they would definitely still be better than most teams, such as Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Toronto, etc...My point was that LeBron James is not the only good thing Cleveland has going...

lol..damn't rampant..just quit posting about basketball fool  :P

..top 4 in the NBA right now (stats..all round top player) are Garnett being #1..then in no order James, KOBE,Duncun..wihtout a doubt..they're on some high shit...for the 5th guy you could argue about Wade, Dirk, and shawn
and Represent..don't bother with Nik when he argues about this shit...he thinks he knows shit about NBA and the players, but knows dick all..Antonio knows more than NIK and the dude lives in Italy (right?) lol.

Let's all remember Lebron is 19...his first year he was amazing..second year still amazing...Kobe was still on the bench when he was this age ;D (and before you laker fans get mad..especially you NIk..remember i wrote Kobe as one of the top 4 players in the NBA)

Yea Garnett is the best.. like last year.. dude is nuts.. he passes like a guard and gets rebounds like Rodman and can handle the ball damn well for his height, plus he's a good leader and has heart. That assist he did against a team I can't remember lol, like 5 days ago or so.. when he catches the ball with one hand and immediately gives the pass to some dude on the other side of the court who shoots the 3 then.. that was awesome.

LeBron is definitely the best player in the East.

What does me saying LeBron is another Vince have anything to do with Kobe? You've already been destroyed, man...Stackhouse was never half as good as LeBron? Stackhouse has had seasons where he's averaged close to 30 points a game, and around that same time he was considered one of the best players in the league...Now look at him, he's a fuckin bench player barely putting up numbers...I think that was a fair comparison...Put LeBron James on Sacramento, Dallas, Minnesota, San Antonio, (or any team where he would be second option for that matter) and he'd be averaging about 12 points, 3 rebounds, and maybe 2 assists a game...And I might exaggerate my arguments a little, but you still understand the points I am making...My opinion may be be biast, but not any less than yours...You've obviously spoken down upon Kobe in the past, which already indicates you like LeBron better...And now you're trying to tell me that all of my 17,000+ posts are about Kobe? Why does it seem like your only argument is that he's 19? I understand he's 19, but how does that make him a better player? He could be 12 for all I care, he's still not on Kobe's level...All you fuckers can say is that he's 19 and how amazing that is, but we're not speaking about age, we're speaking about skill...It gets pretty sad when you realize you've mentioned his age 6 times in an argument that doesn't even concern his age...Who's to say that he's not in his prime right now? Are you God? Can you judge the future? What if he turns 22 and starts losing his jumping ability and/or explosiveness...What if he falls off, like so many players have?...What does 19 have to do with the fact that Kobe Bryant is great while LeBron is simply good? We will all see in 10 years from now when Kobe is considered one of the greatest players of all time and LeBron is considered an All-Star who never got his ring...Until then, I will have to son idiots like you on a daily basis. 8)

Come on, you can do better than that... 8)

Stackhouse had ONE season where he averaged 30 points...and that didn't come till his 6-7th season? McGrady, his 4th season he averaged 26 points, before that 15-16 points a game. Vince and Lebron are putting up about the same seocnd year numbers (James behind in points but up in every other stat).

Lebron is 19, 19..what do you not get about him being 19 and averaging 25 points, 6.4 rebounds, 6.4 assists, 2.6 steals, 1 blocks per game? That's AMAZING shit from a 19 year old...no other 19 year old has done those type of numbers before. It must kill you eh NiK? Knowing there might (or IS) be another Guard out there better than Kobe and he's only 19 :o. He went from Highschool to the NBA..and it was nothing to him.

and you sonning me? riiiiiiiiiiight.

i think they keep mentioning 19 because the avg male is in his pirme around 24-26 i think. (could be higher). i dont even watch nba i watch ncaa but im waitin for kobe to be history and lebron to be the future.  8)

LOL..my only arguements is that he is 19? You check his stats? There at Kobe's level (offence/defence) and if you wanna talk about Fantasy Sport value (which about millions of americans do play)..lebron is just as good (or even better on some sports league, smallworld.com for example) as kobe to have on your team.

I'm not even saying in my arguement that Lebron IS better than Kobe..im saying he's at his level. right now...but who knows? he might fall off next year? or maybe Kobe will fall off next year?

Lebron's resume in't much, you're right. He's only the youngest to reach the 2000 points mark and averaging Micheal Jordan type numbers his second year in the league (and was close to average same first year Jordan type numbers). Kobe's resume? Well, Kobe has won 3 championships and has had 5 AMAZING seasons that'd he'd be remember for if his career were too end now. Now my point here is that Kobe and Lebron are both good...AND LEBRON IS ON KOBE'S Level as of this year...and that's what im talking about THIS YEAR. You're right lebron isn't on kobe's level career wise...but this is only Lebron's second year and this is Kobe's 9th year? So it doesn't make sense to compare them two career wise.

But as of right now..RIGHT NOW...Lebron and Kobe are on the same level.

Put LeBron James on Sacramento, Dallas, Minnesota, San Antonio, (or any team where he would be second option for that matter) and he'd be averaging about 12 points, 3 rebounds, and maybe 2 assists a game...

Im Still Laughing at this one ^^^

Let me guess, you think Sprewell, Cassel, Finley, Ginobili, and Peja are all better than LeBron too right  ::)

Enough with this nonsense.

If you read the next sentence, you'd see that I said, "and I might exaggerate my arguments"...Obviously you're not smart enough to grasp the concept of exaggeration...As soon as you understand, get back to me and maybe I can son you some more.
No, I just dont say shit that I dont mean.  Whats the point of saying something in an argumentive discussion, and then going back and saying "No, I didnt mean that" or "I was exagerating"... ::)  ???

Still, you continue showing that you can't grasp the concept of exaggeration...People use exaggeration as a form of expressing their thoughts in a more sarcastic manner...I'm surprised you've never learned that, dawg.

There is no average...It's different for every player...How do you explain people who were considered the next Michael Jordan or Magic Johnson, but never even made it past college...My point was that there's no telling whether he'll keep improving or just start falling off...That's why you can't base a players skill on his age...PeACe

I'm glad we could come to some sort of agreement...I know LeBron is playing on Kobe's level RIGHT NOW, but you have to keep in mind that Kobe isn't playing his best basketball, and LeBron is much less of a leader and has much less experience...I can agree that right now they're PLAYING on the same level, but my argument was that OVERALL they're no where near the same level...PeACe

Speaking of LeBron James and Kobe Bryant, compare their stats tonight...Kobe scored 31 points on 10-17 shooting, 12 assists, 6 rebounds, 2 steals, 2 blocks in 41 minutes...LeBron had 11 points on 4-21 shooting, 9 rebounds, 7 assists, 4 steals, and 1 block in 45 minutes...If you really think about it, it's not really fair to compare LeBron to Kobe, YET...LeBron has a lot more to prove, and Kobe has shit he needs to prove also... But LeBron just has so much more...PeACe

this night Kobe killed LeBron, obviously. But players have better and worse games, and Kobe had a better one and LeBron like his worst this season.. I havent seen it but 4-21 is horrible.. I can't remember him being that bad in shooting. 9 Rebounds, 7 assists, 4 steals are good though.

The King was shooting 10 out of 18 with 11 Rebounds, 7 Assists, 3 Steals and 2 Blocks. Just to keep y'all in touch.

The "other" shot 10 out of 17 with 31 Points, 6 Rebounds, 12 Assists, 2 Steals, 2 Blocks against Sacramento, IN Sacramento. ;)

I dedicate this to that moron called Webber who pronounced the Lakers-Kings rivalry dead this summer. In YO ASS, muthafucka!! Hahahah.. The Lakers just handed the Kings their most embarrassing home defeat during coach Rick Adelman's seven seasons.

It's hard to believe that just a few months ago, people actually argued that Denver's Carmelo Anthony was a better player. These days, the argument is LeBron-Kobe. Enjoy the arguments while you can, and appreciate off nights like Thursday while he still has them. The elevator, like the man himself, is going up.

Last Year: Anthony
This Year: Kobe
Next Year: MJ

Anyway... i think we can see it from two different views. Me and Nik are saying Kobe is no doubt better than LeBron NOW, which is not questionable, imo. The others are saying LeBron WILL BE better or that he's better than Kobe was when he was 19. That's questionable, so there's no need to continue to talk about past or future: we will see. I'm happy about Kobe. Offer me a Kobe for LeBron trade today and i say: "No, thanx".

I don't think any GM in their right mind would fuck with that trade if they had Kobe...Out of 30 GM's in the NBA, all 30 said if they had a choice of who to build their franchise around they would pick Kobe...Go figure.

Man why you always talk about the future like you know it? Only the wizards know the future. Last year Melo was the shit, and everybody was saying he was the real Rookie Of The Year and that LeBron wasnt shit. Now they are saying the opposite things. Look how one year can change everything? So... dont talk about the future.

Kobe was been better than LeBron (and he got his NBA career to prove it), and he is better than LeBron.

In the future we will see.

Yes, but Kobe was the best player of the night. You dont have to blame him for the defeat (in OT). Like Nik said, we should blame all the other guys who aint playing like they could. Divac aint playing at all and Odom is having a negative season.. They were supposed to be Kobe's vice-leaders.

P.S. Bryant just scored 36 points with 14 assists and 10 rebounds..
Ya , and they lost to the Wizards

And the Wizards are one of the better teams in the east this season... ::)
Obviously, better than the Lakers too

Better than the Lakers? I wouldn't go that far, buddy...Lakers were coming off a long game in Sacramento the night before...I guarantee that the next time the Lakers face the Wizards, the Lakers will win...PeACe
