its just kanye trying too hard

This is actually really good. Don't know what isn't being heard.
Tracks one through nine are straight heat. The Cudi & Legend songs are stupid & unnecessary & "I Don't Like" is cool but just doesn't fit the album. But everything else is on par with all those "GOOD Friday" songs they used to do.

CHILL that legend song is dopee and CHILL AGAIN the "good friday" song>>>every song on this
aint a bad album, just not a great one
-
I'm referring to the series "GOOD Friday".
Ain't feeling the Legend song. I thought he was just on the hook. Just random. Same with the Cudi song.

For my Illuminati believers, "The Morning" is just SCREAMING it. It's incredible. "Sin City" too.

;D best cut on there

Yo Ghostface tore a fucking hole in "New God Flow", god damn.
I've only listened to this album once on the laptop, so reserving judgement, but it sounds all good, flows together pretty well. Mase did his thing on that track as well.
I liked that Cudi track, haven't heard him rage like that in a while
-
The Ghostface verse is the highlight of the album for me. R. Kelly is dope on the opener also. Like some others have said, I agree with a couple tracks not fitting well on the album.

"Creepers" a 4 on 5? Wow, this song suck!
-
I'll be dropping my review for this sometime this week, most likely after tomorrow when I cop it at Best Buy, gotta juggle all this school work too lol
-
"Higher" is probably my favourite joint on here, got me looking forward to those Pusha and Dream collabs.

one of the GAYEST rap albums ive had the misfortune of hearing...
kangay west is a sick and troubled individual...
these crack babies are gonna keep labeling him a genius for using writing pools and tweaking beats that suck and making them cinematic stinkers....
this album is a PAY OFF to his writing pool...
his ghostwriters get to feel like something... then its back to the shadows writing kangays raps...
if you liked this album you probably get hot and bothered when dudes eat bananas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the only good thing about this album is GHOSTFACE bodying these weenies on a grand stage... ghost delivered a classic verse over a legitimate banger.... the only high spot on this pathetic attempt of making QUEEN inspired rap music...
kangay west thinks hes freddy mercury... gay icon chanting hooks in the lab likes hes a genius with 10 hired musicians staring at him like deer eyes!!!!!
LOL @ raekwons spot
track SUCKS
gay kangay west fans: "i love homo chants between electro pop breaks"
rap SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!
im sure kangay fans think this is "CRAY" but its actually "GAY"..
only a matter of time until rappers brag about how many dicks they suck... the audience is there!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Preach...having said that, I would like to hear that ghost verse.
-
What song is ghostface on?
-
What song is ghostface on?
"New God Flow"
-
What song is ghostface on?
LOL, did u checked the album, Ghost murdered New God Flow, he took a large dump on Pusha and Kanye and stole the show ;D
-
Lol...That's a ghostface sample, not feature.
-
Lol...That's a ghostface sample, not feature.
final album version has a verse at the end instead of that corny outro Kanye did on the radio version
-
New God Flow is the shiit!
-
I was really looking forward to this album, but I'm very disappointed... Not worth the money :(
-
Anyone got new God flow with the ghost verse?
-
There isn't one Mos Def track here. Fuck.
-
Well I finally listened to this album in full and it's an okay album I guess.
IMO the first half is great (for the most part) but the second half is where things start collapsing and that Kid CuDi track was pretty much the final nail in the coffin.
If I were to point to a certain track where things start falling apart I'd say probably Higher. Now I do like that track but my expectations for it were a lot higher (no pun intended) considering that it had Pusha T, The-Dream and Ma$e (one of the few 90's rappers I actually still like) leaving me somewhat disappointed and after that the rest of the album got progressively boring to me.
Overall I'd give it a 6/10. My expectations for the album were relatively low (possibly lower than the expectations others had) from the get-go and the album pretty much met them. Only tracks that really knocked my socks off were Mercy & Cold.

Man "Higher" could be my favourite track on the album, Mase kills it in my opinion. After a few spins I can enjoy this album front to back, "New God Flow" could be one of the top 10 songs of the year with that Ghost verse.

Higher is a great track. While it wasn't quite what I was expecting, it's still one of the better tracks on the album.
Coincidentally my friend (who I borrowed the album from) said the exact same thing about New God Flow, then he said he wanted a Ghostface album completely produced by Premo lol.
-
"The One" is pretty dope too, I've been playing that one a lot lately
was definitely a quality release, the poster it comes with is cool too
-
That song Higher really lives up to it's name!!!
And Ma$e's verse... wow.
