so my mom was in the hospital last October. She was in a car accident and she stayed the whole night there yada yada yada.
a bill comes of 7 thousand dollars, we worked it out. But then they call and they say that my parents owe the hosptial 700 bucks cuz of another bill that we have been "ignoring". Then they tell us that they have been sending the bill to the wrong address....we give them the right addresss and we receive and in the bill it says they are gonna charge us interest for "ignoring" the bill. WTF IS that?! Is not our fault they are stupid for not sending the bill together with the original 7 thousand
can they do that?!

I believe they can still charge you the original $700 because that is truely what you owe (I assume), but if they never included that in your past bills you've received just make sure to have copies of those and they shouldn't be able to put any kind of interest on there.....
