CLINTON OVER OBAMA IN CALI :grumpy:
-
Pathetic. You'd think with all the minorities in California it would be a closer race. I don't see how Hillary's message fits well with Californians. With her "tax the wealthy to solve all of America's fiscal problems" platform, it's just going to hurt California since most people make a lot of money, but the high cost of living negates it.
-
Finally some evidence of something I knew for a long time. The racism of urban whites is very overhyped. Hispanics are more racist towards blacks by far.

LOL, I DON'T THINK IT'S A RACE ISSUE, IT HAS MORE TO DO WITH FAMILIARITY AND OBAMA LACK TO REACH OUT TO THE HISPANIC VOTER.

I THOUGHT IT WAS RURAL WHITES THAT WERE RACIST BUT OBAMA SMASHED CLINTON IN THOSE STATES SUCH AS THE NORTH DAKOTA AND IDAHO ;D

maybe it's the subject matter that matter the most to most people, you know, obama is nice and all but he basically he aint saying nothing concrete. I really like both candidate and if i had to vote it would be very hard to chose one, luckily i'm living out the us
-
I really thought Obama woulda win the bigger states and Hillary would win the smaller ones...I couldn't be more wrong.
-
i dont understand it. she won big here, in mass. the fuck.
no one i know likes her except for a number of hoes...
-
baby boomers ^^^^ only x's and y's vote for obama, but half the y's dont see a reason to move they asses and go vote
-
cali never had swag except for them deathrow days....
-
it's probably cuz obama's message is all "dreams" and "hopes" while Clinton has more of a firm messge and direction.
<------voted for hilary , "dreams" and "hopes" is what got america in this position to begin with.
-
Say it to the cats in Souther Cali, because the Bay all voted for Obama, especially in my district.
-
There are slight differences between Obama and Clinton. The biggest differences is when it comes to the Health Care system and Foreign Policy (outside of Iraq). In both of these cases, Clinton's the better candidate. I voted for Obama, but I have no big problem when it comes to Clinton becoming President.
-
"dreams" and "hopes" is what got america in this position to begin with.
can you elaborate?
-
Our household done voted Obama.
HAHAHAHA, CT is better than Cali, LMAO!!

well i could but go to their web sites and check their stances and plans on the issues at hand......obama's are very general and vague compared to hilary's which IMO makes more sense and is more attainable.
i have no problem with either but , barack seems to be gaining steam due to his speaking abilities and youth. i'm not as confident in him as i am with hilary. plus she has the convenience of having one of the best presidents of our generation in here corner as well.
to me i want someone in there who knows what their doing more than someone who might...

Hillary Clinton is one of the most pro-minority aggressively liberal politicians in history.
The working class as a whole was doing far better under Bill Clinton in the 90s than it has under anyone since. I trust the Clintons to bring us economic stability.
and Hillary won largely due to Hispanic voters.
Get your facts straight, ya buncha pseudo-intellectuals, wannabe Malcolm's and armchair activists.
Yall are the motherfuckers in the dunce hats talkin' bout "why don't people respect the intelligence of hip hop fans?"
I do my best to make us look good and informed and yall are looking at nothing deeper than color.
aight i'm done

In fairness to Obama, his voting record in the Senate is more liberal than Clinton's.
-
Yes, but the Clinton's know how to stay conservative enough to gain power, ya dig?
we have to trick conservatives, you know?
-T
-
Although Obama is more liberal than Clinton, he's liked more by the conservatives. The Clintons are severely hated by the conservatives, there's no tricking them anymore lol.

hell no, whites are the most racist in america, urban or in general, they juz lost their juice in the streets, but for everything else, its them and you

Reading the breakdowns of the exit polls were real interesting though. Hillary killed with the Latino vote. By breakdown of income and education, Obama only had a higher percentage in households making over $100,000 and post-college graduates. I'm really not sure about the other states because I haven't really traveled enough, but the majority of people that I've seen in Cali are either all talk and no action about their voting, or just don't care. I've been asking a lot of people about whether they were going to vote, and most said they had no idea of what was really going on. I heard one person at a bar yesterday saying that he preferred in this order, McCain, Obama, Romney, then Hillary (How he came up with that I will never find out). I know it's not exciting if you really don't feel like you can connect with a candidate, but you can't really complain much if you don't participate and do your part. Who do you guys think will have a better shot to beat the Republicans out of Clinton and Obama? I think they will pull out stuff about Bill's scandal, but I think it will be worse on Obama about his youth and his background. They might not directly say it, but you know they will do what they can to bring up his Muslim father, and also the fact that he has admitted to doing drugs when he was younger. However, I think Obama could handle the criticism and look better, but you never know. That whole flip-flop sandals thing was really effective against Kerry in 04.
-
I don't trust that bitch.
-
i don't know when they asked Obama what's your biggest weakness he said he was a bad organizer......i know that seems minuscule but i don't trust THAT. he might be the man who's got the button...and he doesn't know how to organize?? no thank you give me the rag over the lag, please.
-
Frankly, I like most candidates on both sides for once (except romney and huckabee). Both parties have had to step back and put forth liberal/moderate candidates in reaction to the huge backlash against Bush/neo-cons.
I like Obama, Clinton, and McCain(one of the coolest most moderate republicans ever). If any of them win, it's a huge improvement.

i think they are all clowns, and clinton and obama are so close to each other, i really dont care which wins i probly wont vote, ^ dope quote in your sig, woody allen is the shit, id like to see him pres
-
I voted for Obama. I'm not ready for a female President just yet.

That's something I don't understand. We're talking about the future of their own country (and the world too basically) and they're not interested. I find that unbelievable.
Here in Belgium people older than 18 have to go voting. It's enforced by a law. And of course, lots of people evey few years complain "damn it, I have to go voting again. Who will I choose this time around?". I mean, you stupid motherfucker (excuse my French, lol)! Here we are, having a chance to somewhat change the way a country goes about the economy, health care, school system, etc... and these fucking idiots complain about the fact they have to get off their lazy ass to go to the voting booth.
Pisses me off every time comes election day. I can't help it. If they would turn the system around, and prohibit people from voting, those same fucking idiots would be the first ones to say "that's not right! We should have the right to express our vote". Ah...the way of the world. Gotta love it...or not?
-
you know what i'm proud of ^
in Kern County they sent out a permanant absantee ballot application. so i think there's NO excuse to NOT vote. they mailed me my ballot and i voted a week before everyone too! so i mean shit the government is actually making it EASIER for us to vote.

yeah i don't mind Mccain either to be honest with you. i'll go democrat over him, but i liked him after he was on MTV talking about the troops in iraq he had genuine passion about that.
-
once more jake, we totally agree I think
-T
-
it's in our blood^ lol
-
+1 hah, might be

-
I voted for Obama... I don't want Hillary as our leader... and Bill just wants to get back to that young White House intern poon....lol.
-
who can blame him?
and I like Obama and will have no objections if he wins but right quick:
How were you doing during Clinton's presidency?
I just want everyone to ask themselves that question cause Hill and Bill's policy is hella similar. Them cats have been together since college, ideologically speaking they are very similar.

Things have been the same for me through Bush Sr. to Clinton to Bush jr.
I really don't like the idea of 2 families having such a lock on the Presidency for 5 terms.

I agree with wanting some new blood in office. And props to the posters bringing up how lazy people can be about their votes. It's not tough to read up on the issues, and even if you don't feel like going to the polls or dealing with that, you can do absentee ballots, which I do just because it is more convenient. As much as I like Obama's attitude and what he represents compared to my disgust with Hillary, I think they are equal in their positions and how effective they would be. I also think Hillary has a better shot at winning the presidency, the negative ads will find a way to incorporate Obama's inexperience, Muslim background, and previous drug use as reasons not to vote for him.
-
I don't mind two families having that lock unless both fams are conservative. Both fams are strongly whatever spectrum they're on and I'm desperate for some balance. I think Hillary would be more aggressively liberal in the policy she would institute than Obama but like I said, I'd still be down with Obama.
-T
-
I mind it.... if Hillary wins it will be a 6th term and if she wins again after that, it will be a 7th term of 2 families controlling the Presidency. That's much too much for my liking, even if I am down with that President.
-
+1, I can respect that
