We’ve been hearing noise of Royce Da 5’9″, Joe Budden, Crooked I and Joell Ortiz being in the studio, and today Shady Records makes it a fact. Releasing a new statement that the new age four horsemen are officially in the lab cooking up their next offering. And as an added bonus, Just Blaze has been called on to Executive Produce.

The Core Four are spending the month of June in a secret location in New York City cooking up something new with a team of producers including the J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, Araab Muzik and Just Blaze. Just Blaze is set to serve as the album’s Executive Producer.

Each member also offered their own thoughts; which I’ve included below.

Joe Budden: I’m really excited about doing things a different way this time around

Joell Ortiz: The creative being creative! Fun, fun fun!

Royce Da 5’9”: Everyone is in the perfect space, mentally. It feels great to be back in the studio with the guys and I think that I can speak for everyone when I say that we just wanna make an album that will stand the test of time and mean sum’n to Hip-Hop.

Crooked I: God of the Westcoast, I birthed these n!3@@& now I’m about to burry ‘em. Bloody Axe PigFace Slaughterhouse Mafia!

Thats a nice James Dean hoodie Royce has.

They really have no chemistry and make boring/generic/forced/predictable songs. I kinda hoped they were gonna call it quits after the last one.

And joe budden looks like a homeless old man.

Wear that costume all you want blood.
If having pictures of dead people on your body gives you pleasure good for you.
Personally I think it looks stupid on a grown man, but you might be a teenager for all I know.

That´s a good one, cause Dre owes Crook,Royce & Joell that if you know what i really mean...and of course you got Em who can speak with Dre.

nah, cause royce was on aftermath and eminem was supposed to push him better then his first album because royce manger kino did a interview where he said that eminem made dre a pupil in the studio and that was the reason why royce was chose a side and he was loyal to his nigga kino. Crooked was supposed to be on Aftermath but chose Death Row because of the Bigger Check...

Crook also didn't want to wait in line behind Eminem, King Tee and D12

If I was exec producer of this album, the first thing I would do is remove
Buddens, Ortiz, and Crooked I. Then go from there.

But what logic would even have you coming to that kind of expectation?  "Cheers" was a pretty hot-ass album but it came out of how together the environment was at the time where you just had chemistry within the Shady/Aftermath camp and G-Unit was just getting on in a big way.

Crooked will kill any verse he's given but that's all dude's ever been good for. Says a lot about you to have been in the game as long as he has and not release one fucking CD outside of his own.

both Slaughterhouse albums were good but they got old fast, I'll give them a chance to get it together with the next project before I write them off completely

Cheers wasn't necessarily a group effort. Eminem and Emile produced majority of it with Dre kicking in 4. But Eminem gave him dope beats that suited him. For SH he gave them borderline Encore shit.
