I read this post at ItsBX...
"We hear that with Nate Dogg's current situation, Dr Dre is reportedly willing to put the project on hold until Nate is ready to work (which is rumored to be around a 6 month recovery). Nate Dogg is a big piece of what Dre is trying to put together, and Dre will wait as long as it takes, even into '09. Dre and Nate worked together a couple of years back for Detox, but Dre always wants fresh material so he most likely won't use the old stuff they did.."
Apparently , this person who posted this is acquainted with Warren G...( he is a respected member at that forum, so who knows)

Let's assume this story is true (I don't know)... you would assume Dre would already have a gang of hooks or verses, so Nate's stroke is a perfect excuse to the public to delay the album.

i really wouldnt be suprised if it got delayed further....but using nates heart condition as an excuse sounds lame.....
didnt someone mention on dubcc earlier that everything on aftermath such as bishop and dre were gettin pushed back because dre is worried what fans are going to think of the two albums after bishop not really having no buzz outside the internet world and dres fans dissin all his recent shit....makes me wonder....

Dre is a genius for having people talk about him and his mysterious forthcoming album for YEARS now when in reality there has been absolutely no proof of any development in that matter.
Same shit as Crooked I.
This is SO annoying, seriously. Talk about this shit when a single comes out, when a tiny snippet gets released or just SOMEthing official. Every Detox thread is a joke.
Using Nate as an excuse. LOL. Dude needs time to do his stuff, we already know it. If it wouldn´t be talked about that much then the waiting time wouldn´t be so "hard."
