Looks like that tracklist is real. Updated
-
Any word on if the tracklist is real?
Also, RELAPSE is officially an Aftermath/Interscope release... not Shady/Aftermath.
Thanks for posting, Meho
-

Yeah, Em is not signed to Shady, is he?
-

Yeah, Em is not signed to Shady, is he?
No he's not. He's always been strictly Aftermath. Out of the whole G-Unit/Shady/Aftermath, Dr. Dre is the only artist signed to his own label.
-
Dre actually produced every single song? wow.
-
Dre actually produced every single song? wow.
And thats just half of it. Relapse 2 is yet to come. Hopefully that features Royce and the track Primo did...
-
^I gotta hear the Premo and T.I. song.
-
Looks like that tracklist is real. Updated
it is real ;)
-
They're listing "Mr. Mathers" as 00.42 min. long. So assume that's a skit, also?
-
(1 track on the CD is produced by Eminem)
I would bet my money on "Beautiful" being the song produced by Eminem. The title just sounds like another Hailie-type song...
-
he confirmed on sky-rock (french radio) that beautiful is the only song produced by em besides the obvious co-production on we made you.

Didn't he also say 50 was not on the album, anymore in that interview? Or is somebody hearing things?
EDIT: He prolly means "Crack A Bottle" is not on the international version.

Props man. Still no Elizondo, fuck Batson :'(
EDIT: Album should leak any day now.
-
Yeah im guessing this weekend...kinda sucks cause ill be out of town not near a cpu til at least sunday night/monday morning...oh well...ill live lol
-
Elizondo had the sickest riffs 8)
Batson is easily replaceable or...not even needed
too bad Storch fell off hard and probably missed detox
-
yup. i've found most of dre's music to be lacking without those dudes recently.
dre & storch = hit after hit
-
I think it leaked...
-
I think it leaked...
dont see it anywhere..
-
I think it leaked...
dont see it anywhere..
I think I was mistaken... there were a bunch of YouTube links with his song titles there but I believe it turned out to be fake? YouTube blocked the audio so I couldn't tell...
-
and the RNS thing was mad fake. lol @ whoever tried to pull that one.
-
I've been reading reviews from a couple cats who have the album... they're saying that:
The leaked tracks we have so far are not the best songs on the LP, Em uses the accent randomly but not every song, "Hello", "Insane" and "Stay Wide Awake" are their favs....
-
was hoping for Elizondo to be a part of it...oh well, hopefully detox will have him on there. Surprising to see that Dre didn't mix the album...
-
haha once again bitching about musicians
Mike was on Encore & it didn't make a difference
-
Nobody said anything was wrong with Dre beats on Encore, they were dope but it was Eminem that ruined most of them.
-

i do.
-
dre ain't mixin his own shit now? wow.
-
this leaked today too btw.....
-
Wait, is that Dominic West (McNulty) from The Wire on the intro.. :D ;D 8)
-
Dre flipped that French sample on Deja Vu, didn't he
-

MUST be a mistake c'mon ! Veto (and Roomio) records songs. He (they) don't mix it(s Dre's job. Thta's why a Dre's beat is a dre beat ......
-
Dre flipped that French sample on Deja Vu, didn't he
Which french sample?
-
Dre flipped that French sample on Deja Vu, didn't he
Which french sample?
the one he also used on Crack a bottle.
on a second thought, flipping is not the right word; replaying fits better
-
Yea but he added some notes too (second and third note)
-
BTW in the intro em they discuss the steps (presumably to detox) and that there are 12 of them? 12 tracks on detox?
-

Nahhh. Following this logic, 12 steps TO detox, maybe it's the number of tracks on relapse 2.
-
Who is singing the hook on We Made You?? Could be Marsha Ambrosius???
-
^^ jessica simpson of course ;D
-
^^ jessica simpson of course ;D
nah it's some girl called Charmane Tripp

-
Slightly updated.. flawless production on this. 8)

there's two MySpace/Eminem.com bonus tracks:
21. Careful What You Wish For
22. My Darling

No co-prod if I read the booklet correctly, so I change 2-3 things.
I also added Doc Ish on We Made You. That's it.
-
how did you get the booklet so early?
-
Wait, is that Dominic West (McNulty) from The Wire on the intro.. :D ;D 8)
I think it is McNulty, that's dope.

I love how the beat for Old Time's Sake is a callback to Guilty Conscience.
-
Interesting. Elizondo is back 8)
Looks like Lawrence is a new addition to the production staff.

12 Stay Wide Awake
Composed by: Batson, Elizondo, Lawrence, Mathers, Parker, Young
The best beat on the album.

Page doesn't work.
I suspected Elizondo was involved because the guitat riff on Stay Wide Awake is very simillar to In Da Club.

it could be old stuff.
also, your friend Batson is all over it
-
Also note "Bass" for the "Beautiful" credits. Atleast Em's hooked back up with Jeff Bass of FBT... slightly. I can't stand Resto, though...
-
We Made You samples "Hot Summer Nights" by Walter Egan.
Insane samples "Jock Box" by The Skinny Boys
Beautiful samples "Reaching Out" by Queen & Paul Rodgers
Crack A Bottle samples "Mais Dans Ma Lumiere" by Jean Renard

lol! sometimes there are 4 keyboard players involved
so are they all playing one or two notes? ;D
-
Dre finally understood Baston and Parker are not going to get it done ... would have been better to get rid of them but I guess you cannot have everything .. anyways , great news to see Elizondo back .. hopefully Scotty will be back to murder the keys aswell , very unlikely though :-\
-
Parker is dope imo, it's Batson that's the problem.
-
Parker is dope imo, it's Batson that's the problem.
I wouldn't necessarily call him that, I mean he's co-produced some of Dre's dopest post 2001 era beats.
Encore, Higher, Get You Some, Cocaina...keys on the Outta Control Remix, etc.
The Relapse album is the first instance where I think Dre's new musicians have finally found their groove in delivering some incredible sounds, but don't get me wrong...I'll take the Dre\Elizondo\Storch trio over the new stuff anyday.

17. Beautiful
Produced by Eminem
Keyboards by Jeff Bass & Luis Resto
Bass & Guitar Jeff Bass
Mixed by Eminem & Mike Strange
in your face Em!!! Look.. this is the most meaningfull song that reminds us old Em with a new Jeff Bass style bit and it gives a different taste when u listen whole album... That was how you became succesfull, with both Jeff Bass and Dr. Dre productions... Dre cant produce a song like Criminal, Cleaning Out My Closet, Marshall Mathers, Superman and many hits of Eminem produced by Jeff Bass... However He cant produce Dre hits... Thats what makin Em's first 4 albums (including Devils Night, not includin Slim Shady EP and past) the greatest ones... Am i right or not.?*?? Tell me bro's

I always said i never heard anything of eilizondo leaving and i guess it was truth he never left in the end. All i ever heard was he was going to some stuff outside of hiphop but he never left totally. Like wcsoldier said, those cats aint no elizondo storch dre combo but u never know, they might be finding some groove thought elizondo coming back was big too. There were already pics posted with elizondo in the studio with dre recently so its official they're still together. Whos the lawrence cat?
pz

Is there really a deluxe edition cause I went to every store on the internet and in the city and couldn't find it.
-
I like that "For Old Time's Sake" track. And "3 A.M." is really relaxing. :)
I can picture an insane man while I'm listening this album. It's like an Bret Easton Ellis book...
Dre flipped that French sample on Deja Vu, didn't he
Which french sample?
the one he also used on Crack a bottle.
on a second thought, flipping is not the right word; replaying fits better
"Mais dans ma lumière"
Damn, the original track is good. And DAAAMN! It IS the same sample in both songs. Isn't it because of the name of the track - "Déjà Vu"
