It would be better if you put the names of the teams next to their respective uniforms. It's kind of hard to identify a team soley by it's uniform (and without memorizing the groups).

1) Brazil
2) Australia

i think the Aussies have got a pretty strong offence, I read earlier that Hiddink has signed a pre-contract to coach Russia after the WC  :-X

What are the odds?  I think the other three teams are pretty even.

1. Brazil
2. Australia

my bad, my source must have been the exception

croatia are going for between 50/1 and 60/1
aussies for about 125/1 to 175/1
you can get odds on japan for 300/1

This is the most interesting group for me... Brazil should be a sure shot but besides that everyone could advance...

... my bet though:

1st  Brazil
2nd Japan

Hiddink is a great coach but I don't think they're gonna make it tho
and even tho they played 1-1 against Holland yesterday :D that says more about Holland than it does bout Australia

1. Croatia
2. Brazil
3. Australia
4. Japan

this will be the final standings. Only difference will maybe be that Brazil finishes 1st. But thats a big maybe  ;D

I watched the Holland - Australia game, and I really wasnt impressed with Australia. Technicaly they suck. While watching the game for a minute I thought the Aussies were playing rugby, not football, when they injured 3 of Holland players. But they do have a heart. Thats their edge.

And Japan & South Korea will never pass through group stage again. Mark my words. Last World Cup was a disgrace. Referees were responsible for those two teams makin the second round. When I saw that South Korea games versus Italy and Spain it was all clear. Fucking Sepp Blatter and his referees from Ecuador and countries like that. When Collina was referee at Japan - Turkey game then it was no bullshit and Japan got kicked which it fully deserved.

On another note I cant wait for the 13th of June when Im going to Berlin to see Brazil get beaten by Croatia  ;D

Bets for tomorrow's games:

Brazil vs Croatia:

3-0 Brazil - £5 @ 7/1  (£40)
3-1 Brazil - £5 @ 9/1  (£50)

Also I put £30 on a double win for France and Brazil (£66.67)
And £11.33 on a treble win for France, Brazil & S.Korea (£52.87)

Schwarzer was unlucky not to get a whistle on that goal, but regardless, he should've been in a much better position in the first place. But given that the ref apologized to him afterwards is proof that it shouldn't have been a goal..

The last 10 minutes was electrifying in my home.. we were all on the edge of our seats screaming..

The aussies are coming..

Croatia were unlucky tonight

Thought that they deserved a draw

Prso was immense for Croatia, covered the whole park and done a lot of good work

Srna, Kovac R & N all had good games for Croatia

Ronaldo was shocking

Great goal by Kaka

The group IMO will be

Brazil 9 pts
Croatia 6 pts
Australia 3 pts
Japan 0 pts

Lol at people dissing Ronaldo. Yeah hes fat and everything and doesnt run at all but he still is a great striker. Although he was injured a lot this season he was still the 1st scorer for Real. And you'll see that he'll be the first scorer on this WC too. I mean I really like Adriano but if Ronaldo was in his place when he missed that shot, Ronaldo would score 100%.

Ronaldo didn't even get near the ball. I can only remember him having one shot. He was walking all over the pitch and didn't seem to chase at all.

However, I suppose he is the type of player that can just turn it on and it is worthwile keeping him in the starting eleven.

This was the best supporting seen so far. Brazilian supporters were nowhere to be heard. Although we were smaller in numbers, we showed the world what it means to root for your team. Ill always remember that feeling. Something special.

If Croatia plays like this versus Japan, we will have no trouble beeting them. Aussies will be a tougher nut to crack but I think the quality is on our side.

Why did Australia have to picknup so many yellow cards >:(. Newspapers are reporting Guus may rest some of the players withn yellow cards against Brazil so there is no chanch of them picking up another and missing the game against Croatia. The game against Croatia will probably decide second place in the group.

Unless Australia beat Brazil 8)

Australia did their nation and footballing reputation a lot of good with that performance, they could have easily scored on a few occasions; Kewell's chance stands out.

Brazil are not performing like everyone expected, and thats probably the reason- the expectation everyone has. They have a lot of pressure on them to play the sort of football we;re used to from them. But other than Spain & Argentina, I cant think of any nation that is living up to expectation. No doubt we;ll see different performances in the knockout stages from a lot of nations.

Lucas Neil played really well for Australia in defense. Australia missed a few opportunities, but brazil also could have scored a couple more goals.Ronaldo had that opportuinity where he missed the ball

Oh shit.  Japan is beating Brazil 1-0 and Australia is tied with Croatia.  With these results, Australia is in because of Goal Differential.  Japan needs to score 2 more goals lol or hope that Croatia goes back on top and jsut score one more.

EDIT:  Darn, Brazil tied it  :P
