What feature just completely ruins a song for you? For me its Freeway on Two Words.
-
most of the Outlaws verses on Pac's stuff.
i personally can't stand them lol.
-
Probably a Rick Ross verse for me in recent times.
Can't remember any from way back.
-

I've said this before but it's Made Men ruining this track when it should of just been a LOX solo.
http://www.youtube.com/v/q89kbsPc5mo&hl=en
They add completely nothing to this song after hearing much better flow and lyrics from the previous verses by LOX.
-
Lil Wayne have ruined a lot of good tracks the last couple of years.

crazy the love/hate Wayne gets; more than anybody i ever seen.
most people, including myself, would say his verses ruin some songs; whereas other people believe that his verses are what makes the song good.
-
gucci man on the trey songz track.
-
Whenever the name Gucci Man or Birdman is on a song....
-
Whenever the name Gucci Man or Birdman is on a song....
LOL, like the Mariah Carey single, "Obsessed".
like, what purpose did he serve on that track? how does she even know who he is lol.
-
Whenever the name Gucci Man or Birdman is on a song....
Yeah, exactly. Also Joe Budden ruins Sound Off with his verse.

I have to agree. I don't dislike Lil Wayne's solo stuff, but he always sounds out of place on other peoples stuff.

dope verse but it didn't follow up well to the 3 before him and yeah it didn't fit the track
and Shawty Lo does not belong on ANY track... I usually skip through him especially on that new Juve track
-
Master P on Lay Low.
-
Anything Gucci Mane is in
-
Not really a verse but Puffy shit talking on Long Kiss Goodnight by Biggie on Life After Death was pointless. Same on Hate Me Now with Nas.
-
Yes, how could I forget OJ Da Juiceman and Gucci Mane.
-
I hated hearing Crunchy Black on the older Three 6 Mafia stuff
-

This and ...
Eminem on "Forgot about Dre"
This.

-
Eminem on "Forgot about Dre"

LMAO
No, he means it. :-[
-
Yes, how could I forget OJ Da Juiceman and Gucci Mane.
OJ Da Juiceman on that one Mariah Carey track for sure... Gucci and Big Boi fit the song IMO though
-
Foxy Brown on "Affirmative Action".

jayo felony on "the anthem"
-
big syke's verses on pac songs
-
Eminem on "Renegade"
Eminem on "Forgot about Dre"
Eminem is what made both of these songs dope, to me. 8)
i mean, both songs would still be great without him; but with him it pushed both songs to classic. 8)
-
^i know, i was just saying. :P
-
any daz or kurupt verse since 1993
-
I know this is off topic, but Eminem's verse (if we can call it that, considering he wrote every verse) on Forgot About Dre is actually possibly my favourite guest verse ever. Anyone who appreciates rhyme structure and flow can see that he ripped that verse to a new level.

Master P on Lay Low.
I think it was dope
-

I think it was dope
i felt like the only reason P was on the track was because he owned snoops contract and he wanted to be apart of a hit song
-
Eminem on "Forgot about Dre"
This.
Tanner for President ;D
:D The whole verse just didn't fit the fucking context of the song. So, fucking useless - it was a completely different story compared to the song.

first four lines were dope and fit the song perfectly. After that he just started talking about himself. If he had kept talking about Dre it would've made more sense.
-
Royce da 5 9 when he featured on that willa ford chicks track
-
I always thought Kurupt's verse on "XXXplosive" was wack. Nate kills the song, but Kurupt just gets on their and says "Bitch" and "Fuck" as many times as possible and it wasn't really an NWA shock value type of song so I thought it was wack. 6'2" doesn't do a whole lot for me on this track either.
Nate deserves an apology for the way they all did him on that track, because nobody could fuck wit him!

Same here, even though he's saying bitch through his whole verse it came out dope. It's sick as hell.

Sounds like you hit your head or something... for once you're not going against the grain :P :D

Dr.Dre on "Hello" You can tell he wrote the verse all by himself, because it sucks!! Hey yo Dre, stick to using ghostwriters please.

Its a valid point. While its a dope verse on its own, most of it doesn't fit the context of the song. While it doesn't really bother me that much, I can see why it would bug people.
I would say that I am going against the grain with this post. Eminem has a lot of fans and most people don't have an issue with that verse. This is the first time I've seen it brought up.
Anyway, where are the other situations I've "gone against the grain"?

You're full of shit.
Bizaree's verse on every D-12 song on their first album.

if not your whole (west coast) alternative rappers is more relevant than (west coast) gangster rappers (http://www.dubcnn.com/connect/index.php?topic=236133.msg2395234#msg2395234) thing is against the grain, what is? :P

lol....I guess that counts. I was talking about quality though, not relevance. Obviously the west coast hasn't been relevant in years, save game and snoop.

bigger,better,relevance... we discussed all that and more. :P

you might have brought up relevance, but I clearly stated that popularity isn't important.

Dude....I'm just rehashing what was said in the previous thread, as you were trying to say it was about something it wasn't. Go back and look through it if you feel the need to. I never once brought up relevancy, therefore the conversation can't originally have been about relevancy, now can it? In fact it never was about relevancy. You were the one who brought up popularity, and I told you then that it wasn't important to the discussion, as I was talking about who is currently releasing better music.
You'll argue about anything won't you?
