Which album is better, Raekwon- Only built 4 cuban linx or Gza- Liquid swords. These 2 r often regarded as tha Wu's 2 best solo projects. Which do u think is better, im goin wit only built 4 cuban linx

Yo yo what up yo time is runnin' out...
Only Built 4 Cuban Linx is RZA's best work IMO. Rae and Ghost tore shit up with classic tracks like "Incarcerated Scarfaces", "Ice Cream", "Criminology, etc. Nas dropped arguably his illest verse and the album impacted East Coast hip hop tremendously.

I like liqiud swords better, but i can def. see why Cuban Linx regarded as better.

Both are classics & both 2 of the best Wu solo's. Hard choice music wise but imma go with "Only Built For Cuban Linx". "Verbal Intercourse" is a standout track for me. But "Liquid Swords" definately has the better art work, by far.

Liquid swords

Yo I'ma have to go against the grain and choose "Gza".
"Cold world"
"4th chamber" & "Shadow boxin" heard back to back like in the single....whoa!!!
"B.I.B.L.E."
"Lables" (Breakin' it down)
ect.......from begining to end, This lp has the same feel of "36 chamber's".....I loved that vibe.
Genius is always speaking truth.
Defo the best "Solo" Wu-tang lp IMO..
Liquid swords

Nah, I mean I got all Wu-Tang albums, both RZA albums and a GZA album called "Beneath The Surface". I also got a lot of illegaly obtained MP3s. I love some of their shit, but ultimately you're right, I'm not a big Wu fan.

I'm not their biggest fan either, but i've pretty much loved all of the stuff I have heard so I try to cop as much Wu related stuff as I can, but I gotta say both are true classics and you should check em out sometime.

I purchase as many albums as possible... actually I spend the majority of my money on CDs. I'll pick up those albums when I get enough cash on my hands. Right now, other albums are ahead in the queue for me.
Peace
