Title: LoL@American Scientists
Post by: Nightfall on January 09, 2004, 02:56:37 PM
When NASA first started sending up astronauts, they quickly discovered
that ballpoint pens would not work in zero gravity. To combat the
problem, NASA scientists spent a decade and $12 billion to develop a
pen that writes in zero gravity, upside down, underwater, on almost
any surface including glass and at temperatures ranging from below
freezing to 300 C.

The Russians used a pencil.

American scientists are scientists from Russia/World with money  ;D

Amidst the hypnotic cadence of Bob Marley's inspirational reggae tune "Get-up, Stand-up," engineers in mission control cheered the successful completion of the first two stages of Spirit's stand-up maneuver.

1) this pen has been around for like 10 years...why are you talking about it now?

2) theres no way the us would be stupid enough to spend that amount of money on something as dumb as a pen...we're far too busy spending it all on weapons we dont need.

3) "on almost any surface including glass"...if you get a pen that costs more than 4.99 it will write on glass...no big thing there.

So, you refuse to admit you're wrong, and everything you've posted amounts to nothing more than the ramblings of a complete idiot? How does it feel to know, that your entire existance, at least in this post, is wrong.  LOL

try to read something that was written in pencil 20 years ago.....or yeah i forgot, you won't be able to because it smears and fades.....oh well...no wonder russians haven't made any advancements in space explorations.....maybe if they used pens.....
