I would've wrote a long ass review but seriously I dont know where to start & I dont even know what words to use to form my statement.I'll just say both Denzel & Ethan were incredible in this movie.If you watch the documentary thats included in the DVD you find out that after the scene where Denzel kills that white bearded dude & takes his money, & while explaining everything to Hawke, Denzel actually had tears dropping from his eyes.I dont know why the fuck they cutted that scene out.Anyways the only minus I can point out is Dr. Dre.He just didnt fit the role he was given, Snoop came really dope tho.

Awesome movie. You need a classic movie, put Denzel in it. Snoop Dogg had his best movie role in this too IMO.

I gotta place it somewhere between classic and dope. It was one of the best films to come out in a loong time. Tops anything in 2005 for dam sure.

Classic. And the fact that Denzel adlibbed about 1/3 of his lines is amazing. It did over do a lot of shit, but it's an crime movie. Denzel deserved that Oscar.

The only thing I got a problem with in the movie is the Russian threat Denzel is under, it's kinds out of place in my opinion. Sure, it provides the final of Denzel fate in the movie, but it's kinda off place that people you don't see anywhere in the movie abruptly show up and kill him. You know they want his ass, but to me it's weird that they just show up.

Apart from that: this movie's insane. Such good acting performances, well-written dialogues, nice camera work, good story line, etc...

I love Man On Fire. I've seen it (again) tonight, and i just love that movie. More than Training Day.
No doubt Man On Fire is a dope ass film. Denzel is gangsta as hell in that movie too (in a different way) and he came clean with the spanish lines. That first dude he kills is one of the best killings in a movie I've seen in a long time. He fucks that dude up.
But I like Training Day a little more.

When I Finally Saw It, I Thought It Was The Best Movie I'd Seen In A Long Ass Time. It's Definitely Dope, and Aurguably A Classic.

between dope and classic. the plot was crazy, the acting was crazy. i love movies like that where it sort of goes on in a dope but kind of aimless way, and then about 1/2 way through it the plot background starts to come out, and 2/3 through it you start getting everything that it's about, if you get what im saying.
