You could alternatively just spam rap lyrics on /b/; that'll piss them off. you should try attacking their SFW boards. You could also attack their smaller chans, http://www.2ch.us/ is a good list of them.
and use their weapons against them; http://www.partyvan.info/ has some info on this (not sure if site is up now). They'll be surprised when they see their own shit is DDoSing their own sites; shit some guy on Tor said he got not420chan's /i/ to spam itself into oblivion with resetting the default IP for their flooder to not420chan's ip
EDIT: Note what I said. if you attack it'll be like pissing in a sea of piss. And they might do something in response, therefore it is a solid idea to possibly ignore them and they'll lose attention

Oh yes, I'm knowledgeable on this (somewhat). And yes I am a member of 'Anonymous', I will admit that. Also as a PROTIP to all; install pop-up blockers and use Firefox; when they attack (they just threatened) they'll liikely end up redirecting you to malicious sites (mainly versions on nimp.org; malicious browser bomb)

they know of this and will probably attack anyway; so I had to warn you. Though I'm sure you know you'll do good at this. Also, the pictures are really big and they might suck your bandwidth by d/ling repetitively. Maybe ban direct linking temporarily? Lock down the forums (as in close reg) tem as well. Remind people for better passwords. And be ready to ban the people with all the pings.
Then there's all the other sites who hate chans fucking with their internet.
And be warned; some of the /b/tards ARE black and ghetto themselves and well...will know the tactics. Anonymous is multicultural; as surprising as it seems. Lots of black, asians, and latinos in the group. though they don't admit it.

because IE is crap and you'll be tricked into being tinyurled into shit like nimp.org which crashes your computer if you use shitty browsers like IE and makes it easy for them to exploit vulnerabilities. Firefox is the safest browser out there and can be customized to be safer with stuff like NoScript and FlashBlock.
Google it yourself if you don't trust me on why Firefox is good.

Then they simply have to come up with an idea targetted towards Firefox since everyone's going to convert to it.

all you have to do to 'be' anonymous is post on a chan site. Anonymous is a legion, but it is also varied.

There are programs that can detect your OS and Browser.People would have an easier time with people using IE, for example. Firefox has extensions to BLOCK destructive/malicious scripts. If they stay the same, anon would still be able to exploit vulnerabilities.

it's harder for them to fight against firefox when their scripts are blocked. However I am willing to say 'use opera' or something similar then.

I never said for you to attack them, but if you do I sugggested what you can do. Most of this is defensive tips for if/when they attack. Which is likely (ED's talk page has a link to this thread).
I also forgot having the site block .gif files and javascript and the like would be good.
