Crooked I Artwork, Tracklist & Snoop Collabo (Audio) - By : LilJay - October 6, 2009
(http://www.dubcnm.com/cdcovers/crooked-i_pigface_cover_lrg.jpg)
We have the artwork, tracklist as well as the first leak off Crooked I's upcoming EP "Mr. Pig Face Weapon Waist". As Crooked I revealed in the Dubcnn interview back in August, he recently squashed the turbulences – as Crooked calls it – he had with Snoop Dogg over all these years and they even joined forces for the EP's first single. The Scram Jones produced track is called "Guess Who's Back" and aimed at the clubs. But going in with high expectations for a monster collaboration will leave you disappointed, as you will "only" hear verses from Crooked, while The Doggfather spits his bars on the hook.
Crooked I - Guess Who's Back Feat. Snoop Dogg (Prod. by Scram Jones)
Here is the complete tracklist for "Mr. Pig Face Weapon Waist". Click the artwork to enlarge.
1. Intro produced by Cosmos
2. Mr. Pigface (Produced by 21)
3. Shoulda Made a Phone Call Feat. K-Young (Produced by Frequecy)
4. One More Time (Produced by P.Silva)
5. Guess Who's Back Feat. Snoop Dogg (produced by Scram Jones)
6. Cypher Feat. Horse Shoe G.A.N.G and Royce Da 5'9" (Produced by Komplex)
7. Woodstock Feat. Slaughterhouse & M.O.P (Produced by Nottz)

very dope, love the beat
-
good look pooty, was hopin for a snoop verse but then again id probably be disappointed anyway. not a bad track from a one spin perspective.
-
Wow! I cant belive im actully hearing this! God Damn! This is dope! Im supirsed wiith all this snoop dogg crook talk that snoop diddnt drop a verse? just a re used verse to hook.....Dont matter cause this shit bangs!!
-
I was hoping to hear a 16 from Snoop too, but this still bangs. Good to see they squashed it.
-
:o
-
DAMN! Shit came outta nowhere and it's also dope 8)!
Propz for the drop pootypooty :)
-
Damn this shit bangs, i would have wanted to hear an verse from Snoop Dogg though.
-
This is single material right here!
-

Yea, but I'm glad they actually recorded something together instead to Crooked I taking some Snoop lyrics and claiming the song "feature's" Snoop Dogg. Good move for the West Coast that these two squashed all this bullshit and they are finally working with eachother again :)
-

Good to see them on a track together, but the track is pretty average to me. Beat is ehh.

yeah good for them that the beef is over :)
anyway, that beat is weird indeed, i'll try to let it sink in though.

It sounds cut and paste, just thrown together. I mean I can understand Crook wanting to get Snoop on a track, but from a fan's perspective, to wait that long for them to sqaush it and you get this, it is just average to me.
-
the beat is aight
not really feeling it
-
good to see something from this release, but when will it be released? saw an interview where Crook said he was going to step aside until Royce dropped his

i understand.
well i never really wanted them to collaborate, so i was just curious to hear what they made together.

I think that the collaboration was more of a statement that the beef is squashed and that tension in that corner of the West has been put to rest.

Oh I understand that part of it and respect it. But for me, and before everyone jumps down my throat on this it is just a analogy, these 2 are like Nas and Jay on the East. If not 1,2 they are at the very least top 5 on the coast. Make something epic, something innovative. Now I hope that is still in the works, but this song to me sounds like something that was already done by Crook and he let Snoop listen to it and Snoop laid the hook, which is pretty much a recycled verse.
Now granted the couple tracks Nas and Jay did together the arguement can be made that they could also do better but after a couple listens this track is just average to me.

Word...
I can understand what your saying. Hopefully, this is just the pre-cursor for bigger things to come.
-
snoop only on the hook and STILL kills this nigga on his own shit
the is the first time crooked getting buzz
dope track
-
LOL vader will love this song, haha ;D
-
dope track
:o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o
-
I didnt notice Crooked and his talent until Snoop dissed him here on DubCNN, so this song means a lot to me. That being said, i would have loved something a bit more westcoast and a verse from snoop, perhaps them trading rhymes about how they used to do it back in the day. Something a bit more epic.
dope anyway 8)
-
Damn this is good looking, but was expecting some super west coast banger. Hopefully this track does well though, props on the hook up
-
Good to see there's a beat from Frequency on that shit. P.Silva producin' on the EP too, is he the brother of J.Silva?
-
Good to see them on a track together, but the track is pretty average to me. Beat is ehh.
-
Track is tight. Not really too much Snoop on there, but tight none-the-less.
-
cool song..was expecting a verse from snoop dogg tho.
-
Good to see there's a beat from Frequency on that shit. P.Silva producin' on the EP too, is he the brother of J.Silva?
Yep he is.
-
i like the trak, cheers for this but kinda dissapointed snoop didnt have a verse
-
kinda boring track. but good they workin together.
-

Yep he is.
I really do hope he got better beats than his brother :D
-
Its alright after first listen but I was kinda expecting more :-\

I actually like J's beats.
-
Weak track.
-
This whole thing is kinda funny to me. In the dubcnn interview where Snoop dissed Crooked, he said Crooked wasn't a first team player and he should be in a group. Next thing; Slaughterhouse happened and Crooked had his breakthrough on a national level. Now he's got a song with Snoop...ironic how shit turns out...
-
i would assume that Snoop didn't drop a verse because he didn't want to get shown up by Crook lol.
i dig the track though.
fans of Slaughterhouse, i would HIGHLY recommend going to the Outbounds & checking the new Royce song with Busta; REAL DOPE! :o 8)
-
I think its a dope track.Snoop was kinda boring on it but crook killed his verses with his flow.
-
Crooked verses was on point. But the chourse was like wtf.But over all good little song.Just wish the hook was better.
-
Heres what happened with the chorus
Snoop:Yo crook I just wrote this chorus up man let me spit.I fuck bitches like ashley, she gets me cash see,so guess whos back, like a doctor that works on backs
Crook:Nah man I think ill pass on that
Snoop:Aiight why dont you write me something nephew?
Crook;Nah you said I was wack remember?
Snoop:Oh umm let me just reuse a couple lines from when I used to be tight
Crook:Aight man look heres a 20 sac for the hook
Snoop:Izzle

Righhhhhtttt....
How many guest spots has snoop done for big time artists?
How many has crook done?
Be realistic. Snoop doesn't need anyone anymore. Crooked I needs snoop. Crooked I wants to be a platinum selling superstar rapper. Name 1 superstar rapper who hasn't fucked with snoop?
-
You sound like your about to cry
-
You sound like your about to cry
funny how my typing makes a sound. Just cause you tried making a point, that well, I don't know how to say it other than it was completely dumb. Rather than using your imagination on how I sound, try imagining a smart comment.
-
Cool track, more Snoop involvement would've been good tho.
-
Talking to a guy who evaluates an artists worth by how many big name people hes done songs with is pointless.I guess lil jon must be the best hes done tracks with tons of people.
-
snoop & crooked made it worth listening.
the beat isn't bangin' at all, damn i hope they do their work on some dope instrumental.
-

I'm not evaluating anybody. I'm pointing out facts. I know it is hard to argue the facts, which is why you should just stick with your imagination.
Lil Jon has also done far more tracks w/ superstars than crooked I has. I'm sure in Lil Jon's heyday crooked I would have killed to get an appearance by him on his album. Oh wait...he never dropped an album.
I swear, you fucking crooked I groupies get more butthurt than any other groupies. I'm non biased. Snoops first 2 albums are the only albums of his I listen to. I like crooked I's early stuff...and some of his new stuff, although I don't really listen to much new music so I don't have an opinion of his new stuff. I have listened to slaughterhouse and I like that album.
-
so who gives a shit about your facts?Snoop has smoked more weed then crook.Another useless fact. Why dont you bring some more useless facts to the table?
-
Nice tracklist the track with snoop is a banger
-
snoop & crooked made it worth listening.

Yeah the beat lets it down in a major way, and Scram Jones usually has heat. My girlfriend is loving this though lol, hopefully the track and video do pretty well

lol
im liking the track
crook never disappoints
-
The beat was alright but overall it's a dull track.
-
not a bad song. could've been better but it's good to see these two working together.
hopefully their next song will be nicer.
-
smh at Crooked and Snoop stans still continuing the hate when their poster boys have squashed it.
-
Do Crooked And Jim Gittum Still Work Together?
-
Good to see them on a track together, but the track is pretty average to me. Beat is ehh.
-
dope cover, it looks interesting but where the hell is the Rea&edi track?? and where is the monomental song with slaughterhouse???
and lol for droppin woodstock on that...that chyper song might be old remember the 2006 song with horse shoe gang, but royce is droppin might be a new verse.
-
wack ass beat...crock like always.dope 8)
-
Do Crooked And Jim Gittum Still Work Together?
I'm not sure what he's done with Crooked recently, but you can expect him on the Horse Shoe Gang album.
-
nice song, but the beat gets boring quickly
-
agree with the comments, beat is a major let down. can't front on crooked though 8)
-
props.........mayb the beat will grow on me
-
damn.....someone got there swag back
-
Cool Song 8)
-
this is bettter with each listen...bangin hard.
-
Ain't nothin' wrong with this track, bangin' like a muthafucka except a verse from Snoop Dogg would have been dope since it's been a while they worked together.
-
Hook is weak, but overall track is dope. Crooked is crazy.
-
track is bangin'! this is how ya make a 90's g-funk/row era track updated with a '09 sound. it's not super dope though, beat is dope coulda been better though, I give it a 8/10. the chemistry is there on the concept and it truely is that fastlane music I was looking for. be way better with 2 crooked verses and 1 snoop verse and a variation on the hook as the beat ride's out other than just that girl. like maybe nate singin' on the end.
-
this is bettter with each listen...bangin hard.
agreed!!!!
-
this is bettter with each listen...bangin hard.
agreed!!!!
Word, this song been stuck in my head since it leaked.
-
This song reminds me of LAX, the Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube collab......as in its just as disappointing. The hook and beat gets more repetitive and annoying every time I listen to it. And the lyrics are nothing special.
I can't believe how many people are saying this is dope. Just admit it, if this were another rapper you would be calling this weak.
-
Track is actually bangin. Snoop's chorus is recycled lyrics but it gives it a nice throwback feel.
-

its not a track that i'd imagine Snoop ripping up so i'm glad hes only on the chorus
track is very chill 8)
-
This is bullshit, I was waiting for a Snoop & Crook collab...not some fucking recycled lyrics with no Snoop verse. I wouldn't give a shit if this was just "non-announcement track" but got really overhyped. Track itself is decent but c'mon....Snoop feature? Yeah....riiiiight.
