Seriously I can't stand him, I don't understand how an opposite player hasn't whipped his ass yet
-
That fucker needs to cry in the field when someone commits a "foul" against him. Maybe that would make him look less like a cry baby.

You're taking soccer three steps too far if you cry about it. Simple as that. Does it really play such a big part in your life? :loser:

LOL at you crying when you dont even play in the game. its one thing if your on the field working your ass off for 90+ minutes and losing a game, but you sit on your ass and watch the game. Im one of the biggest UofA fans, and you think i cried when they lost to illinois just minutes away from the final four? nope i was pissed as hell and punched a hole in my wall, but i didnt cry like a little baby. :boohoo: <---- Fergie Bhoy

OK some people might say "Its just a game", but i disagree with that, to me Tennis is just a game, Basketball is just a game....Football is a way of life. I aint tryna give no sob story or nuthin, but growing up i dint have a lot of shit like games consoles or nuthin, so rain hail or shine me and my brother would play football. Thats it, thats all we done, before school at break at school and after school......At christmas we were happy just getting a Celtic strip or a Scotland strip (obviously we got more than that, but we would have been happy either way) so no, imo, football is not "just a game" its life, when Celtic are winning or Scotland win i am on top of the world, nothing can get me down, but when rangers win the league or Scotland lose a big game, life has no meaning, i am despondant for days.....if that makes me sad, then so be it.
-
Homie I love sports with a passion. Basketball, Baseball, Soccer, and Football. I am a die hard sports fan and about 85% of the time there is some kind of sport related program on my T.V. But I have never came close to crying. I get really mad so mad people don't want to talk to me for a while but never have I cried. That's pretty gay.

we live in different worlds tho. you're talking about all these different sports for which you have your favourite team. I put Celtic Football Club above most things in my life. i can guarentee Celtic mean more to me and their success (or lack of) affects me more than any team you support.
really after we lost the league 2 years ago I didn't speak for like 3/4 days.

^ About time u took my wife off ur sig. It was making me very uncmofortable.

Chief, no offense, your Australian, your input about football holds absolutly no weight......It wasnt even your second biggest sport until you got to a world cup.
-

Couldn't disagree more. That's like him saying, Fergie Corsten, your input on rap doesn't count because you live in Scotland and don't know anything about the West Coast lifestyle

Good point. I never thought about it that way......BUT Rap music is a big thing in Scotland, everyone knows who 2pac, biggie, jay z etc are, could the same thing be said about Adriano being well known in Australia?...Having been in Australia the answer to that would be no. Thats the facts jack......Like i said, no offense to chief, he could be Australias biggest football suporter i dont know, but anyday of the week il take the opinion of a European before one of an Australian where football is concerned.
But i could be bies as i work with 2 Australians and just a couple of months ago one of them said....
"Did you see Kewells goal for Man United at the weekend"......I mean cumon, Kewll is an Australian for god saik. so that may have influenced the way i think about Ozzies and football.....BUt i ahve to say things are improving over that side of the world, they have actually stopped calling it "soccer" so congrats on that. lol

Never. Thats another point, Scotland has the most loyal supporters in the world, Garunteed 50, 000 every game and we have done FUCK ALL. Ever....Australia gets to the world cup for the first time in 32 years and all of a sudden hundreds of thousands of fans come out the woodwork...Where were they all when Australia did not qualify for world cups and were playing Samoa and tonga?.....

Great comment
Due to the competitive nature of clubs in Scotland and no doubt other clubs around the world, and the fact that fans of both Rangers and Celtic (and other clubs only using the old firm as an example as they are 2 of the biggest clubs in the world and it can't be denied) will work with/go to school with//drink in the same place/live close to fans of the opposite side there will be 'banter' between and people can say it don't hurt but trust me it does, if we lose to Celtic I won't talk to any friends who are Celtic fans directly after a game or the following day (and its the same the other way round)
I think that the people who say that its only a game or it doesn't bother them aren't really true passionate fans and fully understand what Mac10 and Fergie are saying (thats a shock defending celtic fans :P), I haven't cried at a game in a long time, came close to it (especially 2 seasons ago ;) but never done it and can understand how some fans emotions take over them and the floodgates open, to some a football club is just an extension of their family

Waiting for Rooney to take out both of his legs in training... heck, in the middle of a game would be better.
