Anything by the Bootcamp Clik
-
Been listening a lot recently to WC and the Maad Circle's 'Ain't A Damn Thang Changed' (1991). I've become increasingly convinced that this is a general rap classic, not just from the west coast.
-
SCC - All Day Everyday
-
I won't go so far as to call it a classic, but I played Bad Azz's Personal Business A LOT when it came out. How We Get Down should've been a much bigger song than it was. I do remember the DJ on MTV TRL playing it once right before they went to a commercial break.
-
The deep - parlayin. This album is smooth front to back.
Playa Hamm - laying hands. Another smooth one. If only master plan from battlecats gumbo roots was on this cd.
Maybe not classics, but 4.5 stars and no one talks about them.
