Too $hort's "Dangerous Crew" with Ant Bank$.
Also a part of the Dangerous Crew were the Bad Influnze, consisting of Rappin Ron(RIP 8)) & Ant Diddly Dogg.
Everyone of those muthafuckas were raw as fuck.  just a shame.   :grumpy:

I go with Shade Sheist and Knoc-Turn'al. Those two with production from Damizza just seemed to be a sound that would carry Cali back to the mainstream. I had all there shit, and I use to make mix tapes with them, and throw in some DPGC members that were not well known like Bad Azz, along with some DJ Quik that was not out yet, and a Jayo track or two and I had mix tapes that I would make in college and give to white kids here in Minnesota. They loved that shit, and I was like, damn these cats could blow up, 'cause people would want that shit in the spring when they started going out, and they made perfect summer music. That's what put Cali on was the classic summer tracks, and so I thought it would comeback, but they didn't get the right push.

But he (WC) never really blew up as far as I know

he had a couple of singles on MTV in the 90's, from Just Clowning to the Madd Circle days. It wasn't like he was Snoop Dogg or Ice Cube big, but he was one the mainstream.

Del The Funkee Homasapien definetly could've had a semi good mainstream career but he keeps his shit underground and his music is still great to me.

probably more too thats just what comes off the top of my head

Crooked I
Knocturnal
Sly Boogy
Shade Shiest
Hittman

Lets give these rappers a chance. Sure they've all had a great chance to blow, and didn't at the time, but whos to say they never will? look at twista. dude didn't blow up until a few years ago, and he's been in the game for a minute. I'll say that on that list the only rappers that 100% will NEVER blowup are Hittman (he won't get another maisntream chance) & Shade Shiest (not so sure he wants to blowup anymore, considering the independent route has treated him well). Crooked I should blow up next year (I am a firm believer that will see B.O.S.S. Music next year). Ya never no with Knocturnal. If Treacherous manages to drop this Crooked record next year, and it does well, we can very well see Knoc follow in his footsteps. Plus, Dre will probably have Knoc on Detox, which can possiblty start up his buzz agian, and just pretty much start from scratch. Sly Boogy probably won't blow up either tho.
