Algebra, FUCK IT!!!!!!!!!! It's all I have left before I can transfer and I just cant fuckin do it. I have tried Math Lab's, tutors, the whole fuckin 9 yards. In any other subject I can be as smart as anyone when I apply myself but when it comes to this crap I just cant. I'm going to put on some tunes and sleep through the day in my own self pity, no swag. FUCK ALGEBRA!!

wow algebra is hella easy, and most majors require the completion of calculus. get a tutor and figure that shit out.

spice look man, I got the same issues you have and it ended up being a learning disorder of some kind...I dont see numbers like other people, Its like numerical dislexia.
from dealing and shit I can make change and break down figures real quick but put shit on paper and my brain dont see the shit right.
especially with algebra when you add letters to the numbers you might as well be asking me to decypher hyrogliphics.

college algebra is required if you actually want a degree. lol
I suggest getting into a study group. ask your counselor or teacher about it.

Yes, will be transferring to Sac.St in the spring as long as I get these classes passed this summer. Thanks for the help and suggestion guys, I will get this done no doubt.
It's college algebra Jake, everyone has to take it in order to get a degree and yes I really struggle w/ it.

college algebra is still EASY, i tested out of it. and yes i know you have to take math in college

Business Stats
Business Finance
and two management classes that's all about means, medians, standard deviations and shit like.

I don't know if you always had problems with math, but if you have and nothing ever worked you might want to get yourself tested on dyscalculia.

I remember I used to get high B's in algebra I and algebra II.
I coulda gotten an A in algebra II, but during group work (which counted for 20% of our grade), I used to just talk instead of actually doing the work or helping others with homework.

Yeah I think you might have Dyscalculia. Because Algebra isn't exactly the hardest subject to master, so there must be something wrong. I think I might have a baby case of dyslexia. I always seem to switch words around when I'm speaking and when I'm writing. But it seems like I'm the only one who notices it.

Math was a somewhat difficult subject for me also. Whatever you do, don't give up on it. Eventually you will pass. You just have to find the right teacher and/or textbook. What is it that you don't get?

I always struggled with Math throughout high school so far. BTW, im a senior in my final year of high school.
I think the problem with math for most (at least high school students) is it really is the one class that u really gotta apply yourself to in order to achieve high marks in it. I don't like studying and math is the only class i've had a problem getting acceptable marks in. I've taken some tough(er) courses as well such as biology and shit, and never studied and managed to do just fine. With math, there was times where i was actually failing (ended up passing in the end lol).
I aint to sure on how the american system works, but you need three math credits in four years of high school - i got my first three in grades 9,10,11 and didnt even take that shit in gr12 ;D
but good luck 2 ya spice, get on that shit..sounds like algebra is much more important there than it is here, what the fuck at absolutely needing it to get a degree :-\

I got that shit right now. Algebra 2 I'm in. And I got a 13 in the class. It's unnecessary math. The shit is so advanced that it is ridiculously unneeded.
I TAKE BUSSINESS CLASSES AND THAT SHIT DOESN'T EVEN COUNT
Becuz it makes sense. When I'm giving back change from a cash register, I'm not gonna need to know money math, I'ma need letters and numbers with i's and graphs. ::)

ya algebra is trash, I had to take multi variable calculus and found it easier than alegebra. I think its cause algebra is not straight forward, it plays games with you.
