Ima go with Snoop
-
The Game can make a record without Dre....
Snoop......been there done that
Bishop......not impressing me over dre beats
But Dre and Quick together yea gimme that!
-
I think ima go with Snoop cuz IMO Game doesnt need Dre to make dope tracks, Snoop always drops
his best shit with Dre.
With Dre producing a Game track it wont be that big of a difference compared to a Dre produced Snoop album, cuz most of the time
Snoop makes weak albums without Dre lets keep it 100.

Dr Dre and DJ Quik should collaborate more. I think both of them could bring the best out in the other. This Focus shit is not cutting it. There are too many other producers Dre could work with... Quik, Warren G, Daz, Terrace Martin, Mel Man... His new beats are looped and not up to the Dre standard. The sounds he uses are nothing special and far from being innovative.

Exactly.

Imagine snoop's next album produced by quick, terrace and dre
-
Snoop of course. I wanna see Snoop back on his A-game again...maybe Dre could take Snoop into good grown man music that has actually something to say.
BTW why are there so many Game votes but no replies? Speak groupies. 8)
-
Snoop Doggy Dogg? so not the current Snoop?
I pick Snoop either way.

Yeah if Dre can do that , it could be niice, thats my only issue with Snoop.. he is always talking shit

damn...i would love 2 see that dj quik and dr. dre collab...that shit would be sick...they both on the drums and shit...then quik spit...and idk maybe dre do a couple verses...that would be dope as fuck... 8)

Rythmalistic Chronic beats?
You know thatīs bound to be dope. ;)
They can leave the rapping to their friends though, they donīt really have that good chemistry on the MIC together.
So the usual suspects from both camps rapping over their beats should do the trick. ;)
-
you whats crazy, hes fuccin wit dre but like you said he hasnt impressed me either
im not hatin cuz bishop is the truth, the pope, the minister, the president hes one of my favorite but hes got a few dre records (thats what they say) but he hasnt ripped him to shreds
another problem is IMO, they havent been bangin, on some crazy detox shit
im waitin tho, bishop dope and stay dropp heat

Give me another Dre produced Xzibit album or something LONG OVERDUE, a Dre produced Cube solo album. But neither will happen.

Cube solo?
If weīre so lucky to finally to get Dre and Cube in the studio together,it better be for a NWA album. ;)

Iīm pretty sure Cube and Ren can clear out their schedule almost any day,itīs Dre that is a bitch about it. >:(
-
Snoop Dogg fa' sho...
-
Dre and Quik would be sick. And since Quik is now signed to Interscope maybe it could happen? Move Quik over from Interscope to Aftermath like they did with Pac ala Death Row. Oh we can only dream!
-
snoop
-
Bishop was dope as fuck on Warren G's "in the midnite hour" album. but, i haven't heard him that tight since that cd. he just rappin like he a comedian these days. he doesnt have that raw, gutter rap that he had when he first got signed to dre. they just took too long wit bishop's cd and he don't sound fresh no more.

the reformation would be so much better with all dre production( not sure about the singles though ); oh well, it is what it is.
anyway, don't forget about D.O.C.'s upcoming album 8)
-
Dre & Quik thanks

have you heard any of bishops latest shit? he talks about real grown man shit. granted, he does have a few silly tracks here and there but fuck it. they're mixtapes. he can afford to joke around. there's nothing wrong with that shit. he is just proving he can rap about whatever and still have a sick flow. listen to tracks like "everyday", "grow up", "can't figure it out". then i think you will have a new appreciation for bishop lamont. i was a non-believer once too. ;D
as for the topic of this thread, i think a dre and quik collabo album would be simply amazing. i think it would inspire new fire in the both of them. you put two dudes with that much talent in one room, something phenomenal is bound to happen. hands down.
-
Cube n Ren 8)
-
Imma go with Snoop for the simple fact that Dre ain't gonna let Snoop release no bull-shit over his beats.
Game proved he can do an album without Dre and still be tight, but Snoop's been on some bull-shit over the last few years imo. I'm not sayin Snoop hasn't had any good songs, but as far as a whole album goes... he hasn't release anything close to classic since The Last Meal.
But yeah a Quik & Dre album would be the shit, but it will never happen cuz even Quik said back in the day that he could never do an album with Dre cuz Dre is too much of a perfectionist and takes too long with projects.
-
Snoop Dogg
-
Snoop of course
Cube n Ren 8)
that would be even better
-
That "Grow Up" beat is dope as fuck. But, I dont believe Bishop does justice to that beat. Imagine The Game or Snoop over that beat... dat would be the dopest joint of the year guaranteed if game or snoop got on that...but, bishop just doesnt have it like that.
-
I VOTED FOR QUIK. WITH FEATURES FROM - CUBE, SNOOP, GAME, REN, METHOD MAN, REDMAN, SCARFACE, TOO SHORT, E-40 8)
P.S. ALBUM SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST 22 TRACKS.
-
Snoop would be some classic shi
-
LMAO @ this even being close
and LOL @ Bishop even being an option
-
My vote goes to Quik. "Put It On Me" showed their potential together. Snoop and Dre working together at this point of Snoop's career would just be wasting beats. Another Game and Dre album would be dope but I think he can pretty much click with any producer and put out a quality product. Although, nobody comes close to the way Dre can mix down and bring to life an album.
-
I thought for all the hype Put It On Me gets, it is mad overrated.

The convo above started with D-Nice wanting a Cube solo album produced by Dre.
Hence all the NWA talk.... ;)
If you're thinking about Quik,I believe Quik and Dre could be a good production team.
I don't want them rapping together though. ;)

id like to hear anothr album wit snoop but i would like to see a dre & quik album, lets see if they can do more trak together

I would take a track or 2 at this point. What I don't understand is why does Dre still work with Snoop but for example does not work with Kurupt anymore.

Iīm pretty sure I read that Kurupt has recorded verses for Detox (in one of the interviews he did with dubCNN).
I believe RBX has too...
RBX interviews;
http://www.dubcnn.com/connect/index.php?topic=155493.msg1863189#msg1863189
AllHipHop.com: You were introduced to the world via The Chronic, has there been any talk about you appearing on Detox?
RBX:
Yes there has. I am in the dark about the record just like everyone else.
I had a conversation with one of my folks and they said that Dre is not complete on who he is going to have on it;
he is still digging through some of the songs he has, but maybe I will make it.
I don’t know yet. We are going to have to wait and see.
Dre is so picky that one week you might be on there and the next week you are not, so you just have to wait till it comes out to see.
But will their verses make the cut is another thing. :P

Bishop is the best bet because -
Snoop is way past his prime, we know exactly how he will spit over every beat, he will rhyme bitch with dick for 16 bars and talk some pimp shit... I mean it will still be dope, lol, but it won't be surprising in the least
Game is kind of the same in that he will just spit your typical Game shit over the beats, it'll sound dope, but I can't really take Game for a whole album, he never changes his flow or the tone of his voice so it'll get tired quick and you'll just end up listening to the beat for about 30 seconds before skipping to the next track because he doesn't hold people's attention too well, his main talent so far has been to get dope beats for his albums
Quik would be amazing, but then you'd need others to rhyme on it, and also, I don't know about these dream producer collab projects, like they both mix amazingly, but probably can't mix together or make a beat 'together', it'd probably end up being a collection of Quik tracks mixed by Dre or Dre tracks mixed by... Dre
Bishop has the flows, the content, and the newness that will make it interesting

Voted Snoop. Like someone said, Game always picks dope beats so that counts him out. it was between Bishop and Snoop, but in the end, i decided i would like a Doggystyle 2, not literally but Doggystyle was obviously so good that I would like them collaberate again.

yep.
besides, we've only heard bishop on a few Dre beats.
true, that goes for Game too, but as you already pointed out, you already know what to expect with him ;)

Funny how almost every comment says "Snoop" and the people voting Game aren't even bothering to reply. Groupies too embarrassed (or too stupid) to try and make an arguement. Snoop does suck these days, but that's because he doesn't have someone like Dre telling him what to do. Snoop needs supervision.
Personally, I'd take a Cube album produced by Dre with some WC features.
-
About those producer duos...Isn't Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2 supposed to have RZA/Dre produced tracks? Might be interesting if Aftermath actually puts something out. Propably Dre will just mix those tracks? Or what do you think.
-
dre and quik... on the beats only. snoop on the raps
-
Looks like Snoop took it. So, DR.DRE give the people wat they want!

Raekwon said in a recent interview at allhiphop.com that it's not coming out on Aftermath anymore -
AllHipHop.com: Well to start things off, when is the release date for Only Built 4 Cuban Linx II?
Raekwon: The release date is set for October.
AllHipHop.com: So is it still set to be on Aftermath/Interscope?
Raekwon: Well, It's not going to be on Aftermath. We didn't come to terms the way that we wanted to. Right now were just in the process of decision making as to what label we're going to release it on. I still got a couple of other options that I'm trying to weigh out. I'm just trying to make the best situation happen. I put a lot of time into this record so it's important that the house that I walk up into make me feel appreciated. I need to feel really, really, really appreciated. Right now we have a couple of options that we're trying to go through and discuss.

It's way too late for all these collabo albums ... between 99-2003, I'd have killed people to hear a Dre-Snoop collabo or Dre-Cube ... these days with Dre falling off harder than a 80 year old wowan boobs , I don't even care anymore
-
^^^
word
when it comes to chemistry, nobody can deny snoop n dre got the best, its legendary within music. Game and dre is newer but i'd still take a snoop dre collabo anytime over a dre game or dre bishop collabo...but like you said, its too late.

I pretty much agree with you ;)
You got some good points there.
lol @ snoop comments
why is that?
I got to give you that Snoop has one of the flows and voices out there, but thereīs hardly any content.
So this could move the convo to a another interesting issue that maybe deserves a own thread;
content VS flow *POLL* (http://www.dubcnn.com/connect/index.php?topic=187292.0)
-What is more important?
-What sounds best?
-
bishop

For Sure
Snoop Doggy Dogg & Dr.Dre - DoggyStyle Part 2 ;)
-
Game. Another Documentary would be the shit.

I dont Want Game to Work With Dre, Dre is way old, his sound is Too Old, Look at Nas and Jay Z Dre Beats, Fuck that.
There are far More Producers that Can Make heat with a new sound and Game fits Perfectly,. ie. JR is Cooking Up, Cool N dre, Runner Can Make Dope Sound,'
If I wanted Some Real G Wet Coast Shit, i would reach out to Dj Quick, His sound is allways Unique, Dre shit is so boring, I mean, Hustlers, Lyrics was dope, but song got overplayed so fast becoz of the same repetative beat.
Dre's records are so predictable, you know exactly what its gonna sound like.
Why is Dre so ovverrated these days? one of the Biggest Rap Hits in History Were produced by Other Producers, like Just Blaze, Dj Uneek, others, Why is Everybody here ovverating Dre so much?
I dont get it, dude is amazing, was amazing, but u still talking about him like his #1 Song was just 2 days ago, he aint had a hit since.....Since Documentary god Dammit, he lost his mojo man, thats the reason we hear wack shit.
I mean, wtf was Grow up? That was the biggest album filler ever, i would place that song somewhere in the middle for most people to skip. ANd they call it a single?

Id have to say Game cause no matter who wrote for Snoop, i dont think it would sound better than what Game could do to a Dre beat right now lyrically
-
Easy one for me, Snoop Dogg.

Snoop... with Dre on every or almost every track [rappin]
-
snoop! dre makes snoop sound fresh and their music is always 8)
the game is good but dre takes snoop to another level on his tracks. whether he still can to the same degree is another thing though. i might like to hear snoop on an entirely quik produced lp judging from press play compared to snoop/dre stuff on tbct. round here was sick though! imagine was more a dre solo song all along i think...
-
lol at the amount of snoop and game votes; there will never be a Doggystyle 2.
and one Documentary is enough for me; no need to do it over.
-
If Dre was gona come with another 'Higher'.. Then Game.. But for the potential of a 'G Funk' revival... Snoop..!
-
just noticed i posted twice in this topic without realizin
-
no more Snoop albums ever Cube album I will go with that

I think that Snoop would be cool but there are alot of people who wouldnt give it a chance and would compare it to doggystyle and call it a flop if its anything less.... I voted for The Game over the others partly as a fan of him and partly because he has hinted that he could make a full blown classic (the documentary fell slightly short) if he could get back in with dre.... I know that hes still makin some nice fresh music but that option is the one that im the most interested in besides Ice Cube who I think is still making nice music on his own also anyways....
