I liked Wayne, I bought Carter I & II, but this is enough dudes!!! This little ego fool has said that No Limit was wack...
Was there a mutual respect between Cash Money and No Limit?
I think the fact that No Limit was so wack helped us, literally. ‘Cuz they was wack and they was big and they represented New Orleans. So that automatically makes someone else from New Orleans get looked at and we was right up next. They started comparing, which was the best thing that could have happened for us. Once they started comparing they saw that there was no comparison. We have skills we could really rap, we could really do what we doing. [Master P] had a trillion rappers that probably one of them could rap and that was Mystical…and Solider Slim, they didn’t get him ‘til after. So I thank them for being so garbage.
Mothafucka should apologize to all No Limit Soldiers. What about C-Murder, Mac, Fiend, Soulja Slim and Big Ed? KLC on the beats? Mac is comparable lyricist to Nas.
In the fact, Wayne was the wackest of Hot Boys. B.G., Juve and Turk always have skillz and respect. But Wayne was only fuckin' around with Birdman and was a lucky bastard that couldn't rap and couldn't rhyme of course. Hot Boys saved his music career, he should think about it. His lyrics equal point 0 and he says shit about No Limit. Better keep his mouth shut. I'm his hater since now, but I always gotta love the rest of Hot Boys. The whole interview is there:

The only thing wack here is him.

He did say Soulja Slim, but it says "Soldier Slim" instead.
And, No Limit was not wack...They was GARBAGE!
When Snoop was there was the only time i checked for them outside of Soulja Slim and Mystikal even though i wasnt a big fan at all. C-Murder was aight. Nothin major.
BUT his ego needs to be checked.
Fans are always, “Yo, Wayne gotta be on this or Nas gotta be on a Premier track, why hasn’t Jay-Z rolled with Ski…”
What the fans need to know is that niggas got prices. A lot of the songs you want a nigga on, those songs don’t meet that standard. Don’t meet that price. There’s a lot of songs I’ve recorded, hot songs out right now, that I ain’t on, ‘cuz niggas can’t do that price. We have mouths to feed, for real. A lot of times people get that fucked up, ‘cuz we not doing what they doing everyday. We got mouths to feed.
Are you speaking on them wanting a certain amount or you wanting a certain amount?
Oh it’s never a them wanting a certain amount, ‘cuz it ain’t that serious, we don’t want you that bad on our song. It’s me. My amount. You got to meet that standard and I don’t be trying to lower it, ‘cuz one day it’s not gonna be able to be this high. So, I’ll lower it that day.

"I’m too cool to be reading and writing…"
this nigga......
"im not into made-up stories"...haha says the fake blood/fake street nigga huh? haha
-
Yeah I know he has said Soulja Slim, but I must mention him too with dem artists.
-
Now I'm not hatin (both labels have been puttin out dope music in the past - but we see which of these two labels that stay relevant today.
Plus, how can you just switch on Wayne cause he doesn't like No Limit?
-
'Cause he said that they was wack K.Dub and his ego is unbelievable. Especially he was wack way back in '99. He was a little kid fuckin' around with B.G. and Juve, who was/is dope.
Any No Limit artist would freestyle Wayne 'till he start crying.
By the way Mac thanks to Cash Money in both No Limit albums.

you defend him in every thread god damn. easy bruh, hes not all that.
i bet u think "im too cool to be reading and writing" was intelligent too huh?
dickridin ass faggot.
plus, Cash Money is not relevant at all.
Only lil wayne is. so dont compare em 2 now. Master P barely raps now and shit.
-
I agree with y'all that his ego is way too big, but the way I see it - he's just speaking his opinion.
And lol, I don't defend Wayne in every thread, I just tell it like it is.
Hah, if Wayne is relevant, CMR is relevant too - even if he's the only artist releasing discs on there.
-
By the way CMR ain't shit (to me) without Mannie Fresh.
-
CMR ain't shit without Mannie Fresh.
-
i cant believe that you still read or pay attention to what a druggie has to say heh
-
Man I rather listen to that Ghetto Dope than Lil Weezy gay ass...anyday!

Word!
-
the majority of the shit no limit put out was wack, but its the same with cash money. plus lil waynes a fake homo thug whos addicted to cough syrup haha
-
i never liked no limit
-
mannie fresh was cmr.cmr now aint shit..no limit paved the way 4 cmr 2 go mainstream and thatz real talk
-
There was a point when No Limit was dropping some dope music. Then the quality went down pretty fast for them. In my opinion, CMR can't compete with the catalog of No Limit.
-
B.G./Juve>>>>>>>>>> Lil Wayne
No Limit Producers>>>>>>>>>>>Many Fresh
No Limit>>>>>Cash Money
I'm not hating on Cash Money, I like 2 B.G. CD's and one of Juves CD's, I just like like No Limit more...
-
96 - 98 no limit was the shit.
-
This beef never quits... lol
CMR and NLR have been beefin' forever. Mystikal was said to have huge beef with Cash Money and there was all kinds of resentment between the two. Master P and Baby though knew an all out war would not do anyone good... so despite their beef... they kept their rappers in check.
-

-
Lil Wayne is a bitch and No Limit takes a shitpiss all over him and Cash Money :monkey_piss:
and Cash Money has never been on the same level as No Limit was back in the day.....If No Limit was still kickin the whole No Limit roster would prolly slap the shit out Lil Wayne for sayiin that.
-

THANK YOU! Seriously, NL & CMR have had bad blood for years. Did you newbies just discover this? lol. Of course Wayne is gonna talk smack about them. SMH.
No Limit did have some pretty cool artists though, even though it isn't everyone's cup of tea.
-
LOL...yeah, it's obvious they beefed. They always threw little shots...No Limit made "Thug girl" and then CMR/Baby said "fuck a thug girl, that raggely hoe can suck my dick! I need a hot girl to represent this hot boy click!"
No Limit was great at saturating the game, and putting out TOO MANY artists. I definitely got caught in the hype, LOL....I had two CD cases, one with the regular CDs at the time (Nas, Cube, etc) then one with just No Limit CDs...and I'd buy half the CDs they dropped.
-
No Limit was running shit but after Da Last Don it was over.
-
mannie fresh was cmr.cmr now aint shit..no limit paved the way 4 cmr 2 go mainstream and thatz real talk
Yes they did. No Limit ruled the rap game in 98, then 99 CMR took over that year.
-
i like lil waynes older stuff..he is a fuckin idiot now..you want to talk about wack, bowing down to kid rock at the mtv music awards was fucking wack!
-

c murder gonna tax that ass
Yeah, I'm neverdying fan of C. I grew up on his albums, have them all already in my collection, every piece is new. I'm glad that he's still gettin' love from fans. He's kinda interested person, he was born on March 9th, me on March 8th, but the different year of course :). I feel I'm such a simillar person to him. I've read fuckloads of interviews from 97 to now, he's amazing person. The emotions that he puts into songs, that's unbelievable!
No dickriding of course.

Daaaaamn. talk about ridin dick...wheeeeew!
Bottom line is, stop lyin to the people...the only reason u like him is because of the tough image he's portrayin and since they say he real with it..thats why u like him.

Mothafucka doesn't know what he's talkin' about.
Life Or Death is unbeatable Southern album to me. I've heard it about 40 times from the first to the last track. I know every quote off the album backwards bitch. Have you ever read Death Around The Corner?
''Then i wastched them playa haters die slow
Eliminate all you bitches on my motherfuckin' stage show'' - C-Murder [''On My Enemies'']

woooooow that was the best line i've ever heard/read...

Non-stop bitchin' on dubcc = Purple Haze

;D
with corny ass comments/jokes like that no wonder you're a C-Murder dickrider
now ;D at that
-
Lol at this turnin into a C-Murder thread.
Anyway - I'm gonna contribute to that: Well, I kinda lost respect for him after that Pac "tribute" On My Enemies..
-
No Limit was running shit but after Da Last Don it was over.
True. It was over after Da Last Don...but he still did a good job on that one

Lol.... You weren't the only one caught up in the craze. :D I lked NL but once they started to run out of ideas and biting 2pac, I lost interest. The Tru album released in 1995 "True" is a classic.
-
no limit was garbage, but so is lil wayne , they both got a few decent songs but that's it.
-

Lil Wayne is right... he's givin the real... can't hate him for that.
Mystikal was tight and that was about it. C-Murder and Silk were only on cause they were P's brothers. They were both wack as artists. Nothing against any of them as people, I'm just talking about skills. Beats By the Pound was good at making catchy joints with very little replay value. It could catch you on first listen enough to make you buy but that was about it.
