Dooope, I will bump this in a few minutes! I just bought "808s & Sax Breaks" and it was off da hook so I got high expectations on this one.
Btw: It says "The EP v.2" so is there a v.1 which I have missed? ???
Edit: So I guess "808s & Sax Breaks" is considered to be the volume 1.

Im just 2 song's in,
and already diggin' the
EP, terrace on that smooth
shit is always good,

Terrace Martin reminds me of a young DJ Quik. Very dope!

This is volume 1 http://www.zshare.net/download/711407289b4c4013/ (http://www.zshare.net/download/711407289b4c4013/)
It's mostly a collection of previously realesed songs though.
This new EP is incredible though. This is Terrace going back to his roots. Incredible synth and sax work. Real melodic. You can hear the Battlecat influence, but he's definitelly got his own style.

props for the hook-up, +1
this 2nd volume is the shit, I agree with you on that Battlecat influence. This makes me wanna bump "Gumbo Roots" like right now!
PS: Terrace needs to work more with J. Black, dude is a great singer. Damn, I imagine something like a Nine-Inch-Dix record with production by Terrace, Soopafly and Quik and Vocals by Snoop, Kokane, Lil Half Dead, J. Black, Soopafly, Uncle Chucc, Charlie Wilson, BJ and Tone Trezure... this would be classic 70's, 80's styla rnb. I hope Terrace could read this.

thanks for checking it out .... more stuff coming soon. 8)

That's the comparison that I always think of when listening to this 'em. Dope, smooth production, and a very distinct voice on the mic.
He's one of my fav's to check for.

Some of this reminds me on those good old Dogghouse times, when Doggystyle Allstars got released and Snoop's mixtape series. It has a similar vibe to it.
-
some nice smooth shit 8)
my thoughts on terrace's production - does some really nice things musically but sonically is not very interesting at all. hopefully that will improve.
-
Terrace is so dope....Dude is reminds me of a westcoast version of Kanye, musically speaking.
-
i'm listening to this right now... incredible!
-
Props on the hook up. Will check it out later.
-
Propz on the links!! Terrace is dope, the music is amazing!! Any word on how to get 808's & Sax Breaks besides iTunes?
