hmm......

His career is in a chock hold.

he's coming back.

Yeah, i hope he can get out of his G-Unit contract and start workin' on a new album soon.
-
like Juvenile said in one of his recent interviews, 50 needs to let him live
-
He's good on his own he's just got to go for it and do what he does. First album was nice, second album was weak but had some nice standouts i'd like to see a third album asap to be honest...I personally think Lloyd banks is in bigger trouble. 50 Cent will probably leave Aftermath after this next one but he's no longer relevant so he'll sign a lucrative deal where he can get ownership and release one his own accord.
-
In my opinion Buck tha World shat all over Staight Out of Cashville
-
Buck ain't makin no money on his own.
-
Buck ain't makin no money on his own.
he can't.
he's not allowed to drop an album unless 50 says so (under contract).
In my opinion Buck tha World shat all over Staight Out of Cashville
i was personally a bigger fan of Straight Outta Ca$hville, but Buck The World was a mad good album. 8)
Buck never disappoints.

On his albums he's always on point. Imo Buck the world was a more complete album than Straight outta Ca$hville. Both are great tho.
although some of his internet releases have been mediocre at best, i don't doubt this guy. He can deliver heat if he has to.
-
^i've been feeling everything he's dropped since he got dropped by The Unit.
-
It's been really hit or miss. The Internet material that's tried to be the typical southern sound has been a complete failure but when he rides out to a dope beat (more in an east or west vibe) he's consistent.

well i don't know about all the internet leaks he's dropped.
but all the ones about the situation with 50 & G-Unit have been heat. 8)
-
Straight outta cashwille >>>Buck the worldd...imo
I could still check some joints from that...black gloves = hype ...dope album no doubt, his second was a decent follow up, nothing major.
Infact i think SOC...is the best solo release from a gunit artist (banks, buck, yayo)
-

Really ? one that comes to mind that i loved was It's not Okay,...and I want it all was off the hook too !! :o .... and i just remembered My chevy. Have you heard these homie ? These are all amazing.
But when i say some of his stuff was absolutely random I am talking about stuff like We goin Shoppin and that new joint that was released two days ago called pushin dope . :-X

True. which reminds me, i forgot to ad ''My interview'' to that list.

Arguably. but yes. But of course, this is without counting The Documentary right ? ;D

Unless one of banks buck or yayo released the documentary this IS without counting the documentary! ;D

including The Documentary;
Get Rich or Die Tryin' > The Documentary > Beg For Mercy > The Hunger For More > Straight Outta Ca$hville > The Massacre > Get Rich or Die Tryin' Soundtrack (pure heat)> Buck The World > Rotten Apple > Thoughts of A Precicate Felon > Curtis > Blood Money > Terminate On Sight.
am i forgetting any?

i only know the ones that have been posted on this board lol.
that's mostly the tracks made about 50 Cent & G-Unit; anything else i wouldn't know about.
& yeah, "My Interview" was mad good. 8)

including The Documentary;
Get Rich or Die Tryin' =/> The Documentary > Straigh outta cashville > Beg for Mercy > GRODT ost
The rest were insiginificant in terms of quality imo, all weak albums...yes massacre had its moments but overall...all poor. Infact the only 3 albums of 4 mic or higher quality are the first three...GRODT, DOC and SOC.

I had to do TWO dissertations...shit aint a joke!
Good luck!

^agreed in sense.
i feel Massacre was a good album & i thought Hunger For More was REAL dope; not a Banks fan? :P

Cham Check your PM.
My list... although i put Documentary first but since my opinion might be slightly biased ;D i had to think twice and since 50 built the G-unit wave all these cats were riding, i'll give it to him: Get Rich or Die Tryin' > The Documentary > Beg For Mercy > The Massacre >The Hunger For More > Straight Outta Ca$hville > Get Rich or Die Tryin' Soundtrack (pure heat)> Buck The World > Curtis > Thoughts of A Precicate Felon > Blood Money > Terminate On Sight >Rotten Apple

+1, Buck sounds real at home over West Coast bangers, and that "New York City" joint was dope. Maybe I just don't like that Southern style lol
-
That is what I digged about Buck when he was with G-Unit. Their sound is mainly more east coast but even over Dre beats, Buck sounded good. He did not have that traditional sound from the south, same with Stat Quo.

exactly.
a main reason why i like Chamillionaire, he's similar to that style.
most Southern rap sounds alike; but Buck, Stat & Cham have more of a lyrical rapper side to them.
-
Any chance of a "G-Unit wave" again? Spider Loc, 40 Glocc and Mazaradi Fox's albums are long overdue.
-
I find it funny people don't like Rotten Apple. Here Banks went for a very traditional New York sound and it failed yet people claim they want that raw shit. I enjoyed the album; don't think it's bad nor do I think it's a classic.
-
I still bump Beg For Mercy a lot. I loved the chemistry on that album. Kinda sucks that Yayos back out lol Buck back with the Unit would be a good move for them (as they need that southern representative) and a good move for him (he needs to drop an album).

As i mentioned before, i'm not a hater :P I bump the Unit's music, but i strongly doubt there will ever be another G-Unit wave. . . Unless they take back Young buck or The G... ok i won't say it y'all gon kill me loll.
a Mazaradi album would be nice tho!

I was thinking the same thing, i was listening to Rockstar w/ wayne and i said the same thing to myself.
Props +1 haha 8)
I think we should also add Gucci Mane to that list of Cham, Buck and Stat, since he's in the top MCs list and all. NOT. ;D
-
His career is in a chock hold.
Yeah, i hope he can get out of his G-Unit contract and start workin' on a new album soon.
hopefully. he's not a bad artist. he just needs a box of kleenex
-
damn shame dudes have to beg these days,always been a buck fan

No doubt Beg For Mercy has some bangers on it, "G'd Up" goes so hard it aint funny
And Action, Rotten Apple had some dope joints, but like half the album was pretty wack, the other half was straight though, some real bangers on there if you have it a chance. Agree with you on the New York vibe
-
I was happy that Buck was out of G Unit cause I like hearing him think for himself, but it sounds like he's gonna be fucked by 50 for the rest of his career so I guess joining is the best thing he can do.
-
I want him to get out of the deal, but hey it probably means he'd have to kiss 50's ass to do it. They remind me of The Sopranos.
50 Cent = Tony
Yayo = Paulie Walnuts
Banks = Silvio
Buck = Christopher Moltisanti
