MC Ren lost the ability to rap.
Listen to his shit with NWA he was rippin up tracks with his flow.
Nowadays his rhymes are basic in a normal flow, your bitch suck my dick, wear a skirt like the pope, you niggas are all wack, suck my dick...
He been moaning about garbage MC's etc but he fell of himself too.
Sad coz he was a legend and one of the best.

^^ Yep, his newer stuff definately wasn't as good as that from his old NWA days
-
I seriously doubt Ren is retired, because even if he hasn't had a new album in a while, he's done guest appearances on a ton of albums, and as someone else mentioned, he's slotted to re-unite with Cube, Yella, and Dre on Lil E's "Prince of Compton" album. The "Renincarnated" album may be getting delayed, but I'm sure Ren will put it out sooner or later. I remember hearing that he got E-A Ski and WC on his first single.

I actually think his "Kizz My Black Azz" and "Shock of the Hour" albums were really dope, the best shit he'd done since N.W.A. After that, though, is when he lost it..."The Villain In Black" was a terrible attempt at joining the G-Funk bandwagon, and I haven't much good stuff about "Ruthless 4 Life", either (aside from the song he did with Snoop on that album).

Wow, that would be interesting, I hope that see's the light of day.

I actually thought Ruthless 4 Life was a pretty damn good album.
