Dude basically said, jigga and he went back into the lab to switch the album up abit and remove all the joints with autotune. He did recognise his album was full of it but atleast he was versatile enough/honest enough to say that jigga dont want it so its not a problem with him.
Im not the biggest jigga fan but i am interested in hearing this album.

I hope Jay schools the game again with Blueprint 3. I expect it to be a big move for him since he's in complete control now and is starting rocnation. If this doesn't feel like a fresh start I might be disappointed.

pretty pumped for BP3, but i wonder how Kanye feels that "big brother" went back & got rid of what Kanye purely sells his music on.

The rumors were that the delayed release was because Jay and Kanye got into an argument about the auto-tune and Ye refused to change it. But, based on the recent news of him buying out his contract I assume negotiations and him wanting to take his time with this release were the major factors. Ye said in that link that he doesn't care if Jay doesn't want auto-tune. There's a time and place for everything and auto-tune doesn't have a place there. Additionally, he said what he does on his album doesn't mean Jay has to do on his album.

I'm looking forward to this, I expect another solid album, but I'm sure most of the people on the board will hate it. I figure the auto-tune would have just been on the hook, but he made the right choice by not having it on there.

Why another album damn, dude should stayed in retirement. Hes last efforts were disgrace to his previous work, dudes washed up and has nuttin to say if u ask me. Tho imma check the album when it comes so i can see if i was right or wrong.

American Gangster was alright. I bought off the hype of the singles but it didn't have that much replay value. Tbh Jay isn't rapping like he used to but hopefully he sits down and takes his time with writing his lyrics and can produce something enjoyable.

American Gangster actually sounded better remixed by Skee, for real, on the American Godfather mixtape. You can download it from the Dubcnn mixtape session I'm sure.

Can't friggin wait for this album. Should be really dope. Y'all are crazy for not liking "American Gangster", that was a real dope ass album. None of that mainstream bullshit, Jay-Z kept it old school NY, and real soulful on there. "Pray" definitely belongs on a Jay-Z greatest hits.
