But Snoop said his frustration goes deeper than artists using the West as a background for videos. The rapper also feels that people on his coast are being overlooked for possible employment opportunities.
"A lot of these n***as just come out here using us, and not using us. If you gonna come to the West, start using some of these n***as and give them jobs," said Snoop. "I can't come to your town and shoot a video without hiring some of your people and checking in with the right folks and what not. I'mma get ran up out there. Come on man. Show some love."

All this shit is about promoting his new album which I couldnt give a shit about, just like that west coast conference was all just a stunt to promote his tour with Game. Ive learned over the years that Snoop only really cares about himself and doesnt really give a shit about anyone else. I used to love Snoop but the last 6, 7 years I think he has been a phony.

What Snoop sais is right, BUT if talks like this, he should do it like this! I cannot understand why he's talkin bout "wstcoast stand up" and stuff but he plans to feature artists like Ne-Yo, Akon, R. Kelly, Stevie Wonder, Brandy and people like that on his album... then I read about a song with E-40, Goldie Loc, MC Eiht & Daz+Kurupt! WOW! Just 1 song full of westcoast and that's it? I think that Warren G won't have any beats on it even like Dre. You gotta be kidding me. T.I., Rick Ross, (Cool N) Dre, Paul Wall, Chamillionaire, Lil Wayne, etc. These are the busiest dudes in the game right now. They're everywhere. They're all from the South. They're all more successful than anyone else in the industry at the moment. SO that would mean that the South is dominating the Hip Hop industry, because the top artists right now are ALL from the South.
Well Snoop has said some shit like this before but he never really did anything.
I'm willing to give him the benefit of doubt this time, if he really is serious about trying to get the west back on top this time, but we will see.
