I remember taking one of these before. Same score. Why left in Economics, and way Libertarian. Right down there with Ghandi... cool!

My score is
Left Right .62
Lib/Authoritarian 1.49
I don't really agree with it though, I think i'm much farther to the right. The Lib/Authoritarian is sort of accurate.
Many of the questions aren't properly designed, you can tell where they're leading. For instance, it says "should a same sex couple be allowed to adopt". I think they should, but that doesn't mean that I support homosexuality in any way, I just feel they'd prob. do a better job than an institution would.
Similarly, they asked if all authority should be questioned. I of course answered "Yes", but that doesn't make me liberal or a libertarian, it just means that it's an inevitable truth, even in our constitution, that all authority can be corrupted and should constantly be held in check. That doesn't mean I don't accept authority, in any way shape or form... I think the test is jaded in many of the questions.

^ i answered the same for those questions ;)
thought u were more of a hippy actually..

Everyone is an individual, I am more of a hippy in a lot of things, these tests just are impossible to pigeonhole most people. I guess I'm a hippy to the extent of not being stupid about it. For instance, I believe in saving the rain forests, etc., but at the same time, I think a lot of blame on stuff like that is improperly placed. etc. etc. We're all like that, I've been on this board for a long time, I'm sure you've got a pretty good impression of what my beliefs are, much more than a test score could ever reflect.

I'm right there with Gandhi
but that test was irritating me with the way they worded the questions and also i think their "z" key must have been broken or they really don't know how to spell civilize

its on an english site :P

Economic Left/Right: -7.62
Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.15
I agree with Trauma about the misleading questions. I've ended up too far economically left for my liking.
Some of the other world leaders marks are flawed. I think Blair would be further south on the Liber/Autho line if he took the test. And I love it how they try and scientifically judge Saddam's economic policy!

BTW if you click on US Primaries 2003 you might find that interesting (if you're as sad as me and into that sort of stuff!)

Don't know what to make of my results really... But when compared to the "International Chart" with the historical & political figures, I'm pretty close to Nelson Mandela & The Dalai Lama. Always thought those dudes were wise.

I guess if you think a certain way of thinking is wise, you'll answer like that. So you have taken your first step into your ideal of wisedom.
