Title: Why does youtube take up so much space on my computer?
Post by: TraceOneInfinite Flat Earther 96' on September 29, 2006, 03:05:33 AM
Whenever I download a couple of youtube video's on my computer a screen pops up asking me to delete space saying I'm at 130 free discspace and I need to be at 200.

What should I do?

why this is happening is that when you're watching videos youtube puts the video file on your computer temporarily for you to watch (this is called caching)... the location it puts the video is likely to be the temporary internet files folder set by internet explorer.

in short.. though.. free up some disk space on the drive the folder i mentioned is on, or redirect to to another drive (if you have one)
