i like his "2001 style" and all, but he really needs to switch it up, i mean he is tight and all but its just not as exciting anticipating a new dre track like it was before 2001 came out, now we have heard in the past couple months
hate in yo eyes
you know what this is
jimmy
hollywood
losin your mind
all of which are nothin amazing, like we used to expect from dre, i hope the rakim album is not all the same formula style beats he is using on all these...but it will still be tight, but he just isnt 10 steps ahead of the game anymore is what im sayin basically, just blaze is definetly creepin up on him

True dat.
Hi-Tek trademark sound on that track.
I'll never get bored of the new style as long as Dre renews it a little from time to time.
He still pushing classic beats out there.

didn't Dre produce Blaaw?
Lose Your Mind was tight and I'm sure he'll show us some DOPE new shit with Oh My God and Detox
-

Ummm Yea, But That Was A 2001 Leftover And Just Leaked On The Net. Its Not A New Track Using The 2001 Formula

I liked what he was doing with the wash...

i wanna hear dre make some of that old g-funk shit, but i guess thats just wishful thinkin. i kno he can still do it, but he just chooses not to since hes more "mature" of a producer now. him and daz need to get in the studio and make the shit that they used to.

yeah that G-Funk shit was tha shit but he changed his style.
But I would defently NOT work with Daz again if I was him and I 'm sure he won't since he said so.
Later Daz would probably again claim that HE had produced all that shit and Dre would try to take his credit.
And

But all those dope Leftovers show Dre's still dope and I doubt he lost his skills since 99 plus his part of The Wash was dope too.
And unlike most of yall I don't think his work on The Eminem Show was weak.
It just shoud be more.
Buisness was dope
Say What You Say was simple cause it was supposed to be simple.
Dre wanted to make us recognize the lyrics.
My Dead's Gone Crazy couldn't be dope at all with Hailies voice but the production is good.
And u forgot Push Play (Truthfully Speaking) which is also a dope production.

exactly, most of them tracks mentioned above are on the truth hurts lp.........theyre gonna sound different. imo the tracks that he did on the eminem show were dope as fuck.

The WC's "The streets" song featuring nate dogg is produced by dr dre, right ? ? ?
That beat is nice, but not very original

My Point Was That Blaww Track Was From 99 - So It Was New From Dre THEN, But When It Leaked It Was Just A Leftover. Wouldve Been Like WOAH If It Was Out In The 2001 Period. But Now Its Just The 2001 Formula Dre Has Effectively Used Up.
Dres Still Dope No Doubt, He Just Needs To Blow Us Away Again, Oh My God Could Be The Time To Start. If Its Just Rakim Over 2001 Inspired Beats It Wont Be What Were All Fiendin For!

nah, it's Scott Storch
You can hear the Dre-influence though.

I'm with u on that one! I think it's amazing how he manages to come up with killa-beat after killa-beat! And still it's never quite the same as he has done before!
