It's a good idea but I doubt we'll be able to get 9 guys that have a real money account on one site and be able to play at the same time.

^ the poker web-sites.. i'm weary of not being able to physically see the cards... if it was only dubcc crew allowed onto the table, i'd do it.

I'll take the ball.

I set up a tournament at PokerStars in two weeks.  It's No Limit Hold 'em with a buy-in of $10 + $1.

Sunday, June 18 2006 at 4:00pm EST
Tournament name: Dubcc Poker Tournament #1
Password: westcoast
Tournament ID: 25892280

Don't have an account at PokerStars?  Download the software here (http://www.pokerstars.com/cgi-bin/download.cgi).  There are many ways to deposit money into your account, the software is very user friendly, setting it up should not be a problem.   To find the tournament just go to "Requests" in the menu and go to "Find Tournament..." and just type in the tournament ID.

I've played on many sites and I think PokerStars is the best one, you'll like it.  Two weeks should be plenty of time to get this together.  If we can't get atleast 9 guys by 12:00pm EST on that day I'll cancel it.

C'mon guyz, instead of playing on money on websites, take a trip down here and we can kick it at my place ! we use to play till 4 in the morning damn, but on monopoly $ :D I know,,,it's hilarious, but see, we do all this for fun, instead with that money we buy drinks :)) so we all win something
My problem is that I started losing at the last 2 "tournaments" cause I like to bluff sometimes and do that on ...all my money? monopoly money !!!

Hahaha for real dawgz, it's summer here, if there are some of you that wanna take a trip to Romania be damn sure you have a place to stay and some1 to count on !

I'm down on playin, but without money, I can't afford it

i like the idea as i play poker online regularly but no buy-in tournaments are much more appealing as persons with the deepest pockets wont get continouous stabs at the pot if they keep going out...

What are you talking about?  I read this sentence three times and don't know what you mean.  What are "no buy-in tournaments"?

I don't play re-buy or add-on tournaments because it's just like a totally different game.  If you watch one of them for the first hour (usually the re-buy period) people are just insane pushing all-in all the time to build up your stack.  If you make it passed the re-buy period with a decent stack you're fine, then people begin to play it like a regular tournament.

I prefer just playing a regular freezeout tournament.

How would they catch you?  I really wouldn't worry about it.
