Title: Is it me or are some of the best [WSCG] tracks not on group album(s)?
Post by: 4108 on March 17, 2007, 04:45:51 PM
- West Up,
- Let It Reign,
- Westside Slaughterhouse,
- Connected Foe Life,
- Walk,

Also, how would you feel about a [WSCG] reunion/follow-up album in this day and age?

Yeah that is true. I was just listening to Let It Regin. Dope shit. I think it would still work. Terrorists Threats went gold in a couple of weeks and it was around 800,000 when Cube and Mack 10 fell out so I think they had plenty of singles even for that album to go plat. I think with 1 bangin single after the reunion to let people know that they were back together, the shit still could sell.

I'll give you West Up, Westside Slaughterhouse & Connected For Life (probably my fav WSCG track). I ain't big on Let It Reign & Walk, there alright. Yea, it would defanitely work. DO IT CUBE & MACK

Terrorist Threats was full of potential singles, when you think about it. I thought that album was certified platinum even though I only fuck with "G-Nation" and "Lights Out" from it. People out here in Texas feel/respect all three individually, so yeah one good single could kick in the door and make them all made again.

Speakin of WSCG, does anybody here have the track they did on Friday After Next?? I think it's called It's The Holidaze. I think there are two different versions out there an edited one and an unedited one.

which? all of them?

West Up and Westside Slaughterhouse are one of the best WSCG tracks. Although Let it Reign amd Connected for Life are dope too.
It would be dope to see them working with MC Ren, like on "Wanna Ride". Mc Ren would be an alternative if they can't squash their beef with MAck 10...

@Smurf i have the track but don't know which version it is

Let it reign/rain is still better than every song on Terrorist Threats.

When that song first dropped back in 99, they were tryin to make it seem like it was the first single for the WSCG's second album, and everybody in L.A. thought it was. When it came out on Thicker than water, we just thought they put it on there to do it, but that their album was still droppin real soon. At that time, this album and Suga Free's were HIGHLY anticipated in our area.

nobody knows. I think WSC is dead right now, cause Cube and Mack 10 are goin' seperate ways. Maybe one day they will reunite one day, but they should hurry
up because they don't get younger...

Yeah that song had alot of hype behind it. Luckily Gangsta Nation created a huge buzz for their second record because Let It Reign would have been the perfect lead single if that album would have come out around that time.
