More great info in this part. Can't wait to hear the Greatest Hits Mixtape.
-
can someone sum up the audio ???
-
What does it say about the reels that were lost at echo studios? I must have missed that part. Great interview again though. He dropped a lot of info on that whole Death Row/DPG situation we never knew about.
-
this is a good interview
-
cheers homie, is ther anychance you could write it up please?
-
That's a lot of writing to do. Just listen to it all. It's worth it.
-
Man, just like there have been movies about Motown and other legendary labels and musical legacies there needs to be one about the Death Row legacy. there's too much interesting stories, drama etc...
Death Row is likely the realest rap label crew ever, let alone the originators.

Welcome to Death Row is as close as it will get... for a while. There's too much stuff involved that would probably get a lot of people in trouble. Either way, I enjoy hearing these accounts firsthand from people who were actually there.

why the fuc would you want to read that vs listen? he talks clearly and the interviewer doesnt sound like an intimidated bitch

Just to back the other guy up, I'll say that the audio was very quiet, and I had to turn the volume to the max. Then my ears damn near shattered when somebody IMed me haha.
But I will say that Big C-Style did indeed speak very clearly and actually in a very mature manner, given the subject of the discussion.

For sure. I hadn't really heard or knew much about him till this interview. He sounds like a real intelligent, down to earth type of dude that wasn't all into making a deal out of crip and blood shit, just out of how people should respect one another.
-
5 star thread!
Thanks for this interview! 8)

Well, seeing how he claimed to have been older than Suge, rest assured that a lot of his maturity came with age. I'd put money on him having a much different, more color-oriented point of view if you talked to him 20 years ago.
-
dope shit, really cool to hear these stories

Yeah, it really is. One thing i'd like to hear is a mixtape full of 19th Street Records instrumentals, the instrumentals that was released from "Word On Tha Streets" and the instrumentals that were released from "19th Street LBC Compilation" are real hard to find these days, so they should release all of them in a mixtape.

BIG C-STYLE should do a book on hi slife and include all the death row storis.shit a be interesting

of course it will NOT be thr true OG,
I think you misunderstood what I meant. I said true cdq, not true og. I know it's not gonna be the true OG because Bad Azz had nothing to do with the original song. I meant is it gonna be the same radio rip of ghetto star with 2pac that we all have had all these years, or is it gonna be a cdq version of ghetto star with 2pac?
-
Any update on this, I had no idea the track list was out until I checked this thread out today.
