Reported via his Twitter
Ain't this the track that's supposed to be produced by Dr. Dre and it features Nate Dogg?
-
if it was produced by dre and features nate dogg that would be crazy! more than likely some corny r&b sounding single, not produced by dre and not featuring nate.
-
i predict based off the promo cover, song is going to be trash.
i hope 50 proves me wrong, but this will be nowhere near 21 Questions Part 2 (that's what it appears he is trying to do).
-
It's gonna be another club song about bitches and shit, but i still hope it will be BANGIN'.
-
As long as it does feature Nate Dogg, it'll be an interesting hear.
-
:) Looking forward to this shit
-
anybody know what time tonight?
-
You'd think it would have a "feat. Nate Dogg" or "Produced by Dr.Dre" tag to raise the expectation, if rumours are to believed..
-

my concern too..
-
the nate dogg rumour is almost definitely false. i would surprised if it was produced by dre too, 50 already dropped 2 dre produced singles that didn't take off...
-

the only good part of 21 questions, is the hook IMO
-
I heard it's produced by Swizz Beatz and features an Autotuned Tony Yayo on the hook :o
;D
-
I remember a few days ago somebody posted about this sayin' it was produced by Dre and it features Nate. We'll see though, i hope it's true.
-
Find out shortly I guess
-
read that this is produced by polow da don. makes sense, his name was mentioned as a producer from the latest bisd sessions. expect it to be extremely wack, unless nate dogg somehow appears and kills the hook...

it might have been the best part, but 50 wasn't terrible on his verses.
but i only say it because of the Nate hook on 21 Questions, which appears to be a false rumor for this track. :-\
& it's not produced by Dre? this is not going to be pretty. :-X
-
Atleast this means we might finally see this album drop, lets hope this song does something, i'm sick of 50 getting pushed back and forcing everyone else to get pushed back
-
i love you like a fat kid loves cake.
-
Predicting another recycled single that would've been cool in 02-05 but sounds dated.
-
I'M PREDICTED A SMOOTH 21 QUESTIONS ESQUE SONG.
-

OHHHHHHH
N/M THEN, UHHH..... I dunno.... Something like Follow my Lead?
-
Supposedly it's premiering at 7 pacific time
-
its goin down in a lil bit
-
i remember the last time 50 premiered a single like this, the song sucked (i get it in - beat was ok though). expect the worst.
-
why do people have high expectations of 50?
(hes not gettin it in anymore) lol
-
I'm guessing the concept is "have a baby by me baby, be a millionaire, I'll write the check before the baby comes, who the hell cares", nothing we haven't heard before. Let's see what this 4TH single of a still YET to be released album is like...
edit* i just realized that 50 dropped 4 or 5 singles before "Curtis" came out as well.
-
damn i know the tittle prolly says it all but sounds like its a slow-down song
get up>>>>>>>
-
where's it at?
-
theres snippets out there...sounds wack
-
the cover is dope as shit.
-
theres snippets out there...sounds wack
link?
according to his own site it was supposed to be played aleady, but they got jay-z on the radio instead  50 stays losing at the moment.
-
featuring Ne-Yo, NOT a Dre production, will get a lot of radio play
-
Can someone please post a link to the snippet ?
-
yep... listening to it right now, it's some r&b ish, not that bad tough!
-
http://player.streamtheworld.com/liveplayer.php?CALLSIGN=WQHTFM the're playing it...
-
thanks homie! missed it though...
-
already gone. Gonna bump some rae & take a nap ;D
-
We should have dl links within half an hour
-
here's a radio rip. damn this track was even worse than expected!

lol props on behalf of the board. 8)
but i'm not downloading it until i can hear it; i don't even want to waste the space. :P
-
lol at sampling himself. Someone guessed the "have a baby by me baby" part ::)
who sings the hook after the 50 sample? sounds like ne-yo or some shit..
-
definitely better ways to utilise 4mb, but it will stop the curiosity. 50 is using this really weird voice, the track is definitely a fail.
and i believe the singer is ne-yo. not nate dogg though
-
who sings the hook after the 50 sample? sounds like ne-yo or some shit..
featuring Ne-Yo
-
damn that many heads lookin for new 50 muzik? lol

lol, true that.
yo, can we get a Zshare up in this bitch?
-
50 has gone considerably downhill since curtis, which is surprising considering how average of an album that was. that timbaland single he came out with before shits on this trash. if he wants to go the extreme pop route, at least do it good.
-
This is for BISD? What the hell happened to the return of the boom bap sound?
Mad disappointing. I hope the original recording sessions for BISD get leaked or become a mixtape if they haven't done so already.
I keep hearing these dope complex sounding beats produced by Sha Money XL for 50 but they don't end up anywhere. Maybe Doc Dre is sucking up the futuristic sounding shit for Detox.
-
lol nah so is mine...str8 up but damn there was maybe 20 heads viewin the thread....but 50 hasnt been the same in years...so im jus wonderin what those 20 heads were thinkin they were goin to get? lol
(must have been for the pre-tox hearin...)

really?
i thought the best songs off his previous two mixtapes combined, made for a better tracklist than Curtis lol.
-
I like the beat and the song definitely has some radio appeal to it. I think 50 is really reaching with this one though. He dropped more street songs and the whole War Angel project and I am sure he is not getting the buzz and reaction he wants or expects so he probably feels like why not go with a track for the ladies.

the mixtapes were pretty good! but this is just trash, can't see this helping him to push units except for alienating all the wannabe gangstas in his fanbase.
-
This is fucking horrible, even by 50s standards, that hook is :-X obviously gotta wait for the CDQ before i can fully judge it but from the sound of it it's another flop
-

I think he's still dope but this song isn't what I enjoy. I like these recent tracks,
Flight 187
Respect it or check it
Suicide Watch
Put that work in
-
I don't dislike the song. If he's gonna go with a pop first single I'd rather it be like this than "Candy Shop" or "Amusement Park"
-
its not that bad...its better than amusement park from curtis that was the worst 50 track ever
-
all the 'singles' sucked dick so far. Minus the War Angel mixtape, I agree that 50 has gone downhill since Curtis, which is hard.
-
I don't dislike the song. If he's gonna go with a pop first single I'd rather it be like this than "Candy Shop" or "Amusement Park"
gotta disagree there and while 'amusement park' was bad, this is somehow even worse.
-
I thought "Get it in" (final version) was his best single in a long time. I love that song.
-
damn some of 50's GET RICH OR DIE TRYIN fans are gon make him SELF DESTRUCT FOR REAL
he puts in mad work wit super producer/writers to give you the best of the.....and people arent likin it
-
get up was dope. that track coulda been good if they saved it for when the album was actually dropping, did a non-silly video and promoted it better.
-
50 just needs to give up on making lots of money & being the major focus in rap and make music for the love of it or just quit all together and move on. At this rate he 's the new Diddy which is sad because I think he's mad talented when he focuses himself properly.
I don't care who you work with. If it's not hot, it's not hot. Just the way it is.
I take Drake's Best I Ever Had over this joint any day.
-
I like it. Easily better than Follow My Lead and Amusement Park.
Love the varied instrumentaion
-
song is no bueno, no nate dogg, & no dre. Typical 2008-2009 R&B/club/rapper hybrid garbage that the females will eat up and radio will play the sit out of.
FAIL
-
apparently the version with Ne-Yo is a remix. The original has someone else on the hook. Beat is the same tho
http://www.myspace.com/50CENT
*edit - beat is pretty (pretty much) the same
-
Who produced it?
Beat reminds me of Everyday in the Streets
-
all the 'singles' sucked dick so far. Minus the War Angel mixtape, I agree that 50 has gone downhill since Curtis, which is hard.
he has been on a downward spiral since Get rich or die tryin
-
you mean the album or the soundtrack?^^^^
-
This track is hot fire minus the title-sample.
I'm co-signing this.
-
itd be better if they used the original chorus as a third verse on the remix with ne-yo
-
This is pretty cool.. just a track for radio/ladies.. what tracks have leaked from BISD?
Get it in
Get up?
all hot tracks...
-
not likin this at all. he definately goin for the pop rnb sound with this song.
lol, no dre production and nate dogg hook
i liked 50's tracks "i get it in" & "get up" . they were much better singles.
-
real generic sounding, even the 50 groupies on thisis50 were hating on this one.
:loopaper:
-
why do people have high expectations of 50?
(hes not gettin it in anymore) lol
because a lot of posters on dubcc like 50 cent
-
This is shite.
If he wanted an RnB single, he should have done something similar to the tracks on Forever King.
50 sounded hungry on that at least.
-
Ladies, this thread was created last night and is about the new 50 Cent single "Baby By Me" and we're already on page 4. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.
-
This is the worst 50 single ever. 50 stays being confused when it comes to singles, he should've pushed Get Up to the max. but his uncontrollable desire to have a number 1 single is eventually gonna lead to his complete downfall.
-

We can only hope he disappears from the spotlight soon.
-
So am I really the only one that thinks Fiddy is just doing what Jimmy wants him to do? Because it would seem to me that basically everyone on major labels put out crappy bitch singles to get buzz.
I don't give a fuck what the first single sounds like as long he gets his release date finally AND WE CAN START BITCHIN ABOUT THE DETOX NOT COMING EVEN AFTER RELAPSE 2.

really?
jeeze
-
to be honest this song is not so bad.. just another mainstream song. nothing special.
version with neyo sounds much better
-
real generic sounding, even the 50 groupies on thisis50 were hating on this one.
:loopaper:
co-sign, this is straight-up garbage, if this is meant to swoon the MASSES or the ladies, I'm going to kill my-self if people fall for this ass-paper masquerading as hip-hop music with an r&b twist.
50 DON'T put this SHIT on BISD!! >:( :'(
-
the Ne-Yo hook was dope.
50 didn't flow over it well.
the beat is average; wish it was Dre.
lol @ him sampling a line from "I Get Money".
2/5.
-
4/5
its a solid radio track. he could do much worse (and has in the past)
if 50 wasnt even on this and it was just a ne-yo song (or maybe a remix with fif on it) alot of people here would be replying differently.
-
LOL, did I call it or what? He did recycle that line...
as for the track itself I'm feeling the production, very atmospheric...has a little bounce to it, I expected worse. Not a bad song though, hopefully it does well so the album drops.
-
I LIKE IT.
-
its alright for a chick track. at least he hasnt sung the whole song like ive been hearin from jeezy, ti and wayne. But its still weak and not somethin that would make me wanna cop the album.
-
Best 50 single I've heard since "I Like The Way She Do It"
-
^lmao
Just wanna go on record and say...
Game f/ Ne-Yo - Gentleman's Affair > Game f/ Ne-Yo - Camera Phone > 50 Cent f/ Ne-Yo - Baby B y Me
-

when did jeezy sing a whole song? jeezy never sold out to sell records and that's what i love about him. He has no problem selling records without doing the auto tune like wayne or singing like ti.

Camera Phone yes, Gentelman's Affair is corny just as this one.
-
this song was real tight can't believe 50 actually made a good song.
this gone be huge I think. Was Nate Dogg suppose to be on this originaly or what was that talk bout it featuring nate about?

damn this is wack lol
-
damn this is wack lol
its still better than....amusement park :-X
-
that's already one really bad track on the album. you know all his hype about bisd being a dope concept album or something different from curtis is just pure bs. in fact based on this single, it'll be worse. i was actually digging the timbaland one - as pop as it was, at least it was executed really well.
-
IMO
GET UP & STR8 TO THE BANK & OUTTA CONTROL REMIX>>>>>CANDY SHOP, IN DA CLUB, AMUSEMENT PARK, I GET MONEY, 21 QUESTIONS,JUS A LIL BIT, ILL STILL KILL etc....(if im not missin any)
(NOT INCLUDIN GET UP)I GET IT IN>>>>>>>
IMO ALL SINGLES GOT OLD/BORIN QUIK CEPT FOR GET UP AND I GET IT IN
IF OUTTA CONTROL COUNTS...THATS HIS BEST SINGLE OF ALL TIME IMO..OF ALL TIME
damn this is wack lol
its still better than....amusement park :-X
-
50's best solo singles are in da club, outta control rmx and get up. those songs are all straight bangers. strictly as singles, candy shop and just a lil bit are really good too. that best friend track was nice too.
this new one really steps outside the aftermath kind of vibe to something extremely generic.
i give him a pass for that ayo technology joint because tim + danja + justin is the shit as far as mainstream music goes.
thats my piece, commented on this one way too much already.
-

ayo technology, from his last album. didn't mean anything new i'm afriad.

i know i'm going to dig some tracks off this album; i was feelin' a few off of Curtis.
he should drop it, ASAP.

no way :P
-
Sounds like a remix of "Camera Phone" by The Game & "Boom Boom Pow" by Black Eyed Peas...
Doesn't sound as forced as "Ok, Alright" or "I Get It In" (maybe because of Ne-Yo's hook) but I'm not impressed...
-
He should just make songs like he did in his POD days....
-
Just pathetic. Fiddy's still using the same old scam on people? He's not fooling no one anymore. (http://www.sherv.net/cm/emo/funny/2/finger.gif) to fiddy's rap career (he did nothing good).

HAVE A BABY BY ME BABY, BE A MILLIONAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRE
-
damn whats crazy bisd has been in the works for years and shit like this doesnt make it or wont make it appear any sooner IMO
-
This song is gonna blow up. Just wait for the video.
-
I've had it on near repeat.
Shit so fuckin catchy. Gonna make a mix with the first 2 ne-yo choruses and the last one by that other fag tho, i'm feelin both of em and can't choose which one to listen to
-
LMFAO that other fag, thats a good one lol.
-
not a bad beat, but the lyrics are just garbage. there is no substance, just non-connecting sleazy pick up lines.
-

Haha, you're so right. 50 Cent is a guilty pleasure.
-
Here's my mix with both hooks... theres a gang of new sfx in the version with ne-yo, you can tell they went back and really retooled it. even the vocals are mixed slightly better.
http://www.zshare.net/audio/654815449f9a1025/

this song will probably get a lot of spins on the radio on pop stations.Me personally Im not liking it at all.If you have a dick you shouldnt be feeling this song.

i'm confused wipe me down
the ayo technology joint was hot (despite being the in thing at the time) so was follow my lead which was in my opinion among his best "ladies' song next to 21 questions or god gave me style (if you consider this one)
-
50 Cent is probably the greatest rapper of the last decade.

Clearly, 50 did something that not many rappers are capable of so I'd give him more credit then most people would. I love all types of music and that include different styles within rap so it amuses me when the lyrical ones complain about the single records being easy to make and pointless. If that's the case then make one and have the rest of the album be dope hits. There's more than meets the eye when it comes to shit talking singles.

don't get me wrong; Get Rich or Die Tryin' was a top album of this decade, in my opinon.
i enjoyed The Massacre & even felt a few tracks off Curtis; i thought it was a bigger 50 fan than most of this board.
but i think Eminem is the artist of this decade, hands down; followed by Budden, Kanye, Game & some others (including 50).
-
I can agree with
Eminem
50
Kanye
being top 3
then maybe
lil wayne
depending on his next release
-
Budden will always be slept on but his influence on the game isn't that great... technically speaking, from a lyrical perspective, he deserves it just like Game deserves to be recognized for his vocal abilities but beyond that i'm not so sure
-

yeah, Wayne has some songs he puts on mixtapes & shit that are questionable & he isn't a very good "rocker", but this last decade, he has dropped some real dope albums.

i would say just based on all the great music he has dropped in the last decade & how it has gotten progressivly better (IMO), he easily deserves mention.
-
I'm just saying...
Let me rephrase...
50 Cent is the best mainstream rapper of the past decade.
Any type of commercial genre in Hip-Hop, he will make an above average song in that category.
When you want to listen some ignorant ass generic single. I think 50 Cent got the formula.
I agree Kanye and Em also up there.
-
I would put TI up there as well.Cant deny what the guy has done over the last while. One of those rare artists that seemed to get better as time went on.And paper trail was one of the best albums in a while I still bump it all the time
-

Ehhh.. His singles never really were that universal to me. Although Live My Life definitely was. He is still an acquired taste imo.

i'd say T.I. is a top artist of this decade, esspecially just speaking mainstream.

I would put TI up there as well.Cant deny what the guy has done over the last while. One of those rare artists that seemed to get better as time went on.And paper trail was one of the best albums in a while I still bump it all the time
Ehhh.. His singles never really were that universal to me. Although Live My Life definitely was. He is still an acquired taste imo.
i'd say T.I. is a top artist of this decade, esspecially just speaking mainstream.
Wow really...
Beats Eminem, 50 Cent, Kanye? Even Jay?

Budden will always be slept on but his influence on the game isn't that great... technically speaking, from a lyrical perspective, he deserves it just like Game deserves to be recognized for his vocal abilities but beyond that i'm not so sure
i would say just based on all the great music he has dropped in the last decade & how it has gotten progressivly better (IMO), he easily deserves mention.
You are saying that because you are his #1 groupie, don't even deny it.
You basically named some rappers that had influence and then your favorite boy...

not better than the guys you just named, but he is probably in the top 10.

seven real good albums in ten years.
seven albums of which you never heard, so i don't know how you can even make a valid opinion lol.
speaking in terms of the last decade, how much influence has Raekwon had in the last 10 years? not nearly as much as the rappers named in this thread (the Eminem's & the 50 Cent's), but i bet you're one of those people who would jump right on the bandwagon "OB4CL2 is hands down the album of the year so far".
influence means nothing in terms of skill, all the influence in rap today comes from rappers you people bitch about everyday on this forum; what a terrible argument you're trying to hold lol.
-
Well TIs last album willl have bigger sales then Blueprint 3s.I dont think a guy who gets constant radio play and has albums that debut with over 500,000 sold first week can be defined as an aquired taste.

How can you assume that I never heard them? 2 of the projects don't really bother to listen because of the crappy mixing but I have listened to the mood muzik cd's also besides halfway, padded room & self titled.
And what the fuck has Raekwon got to do with this, who said anything about The Chef? And yes, it was a very good album, you trying to deny it?
You act like I'm some kind of a hater even though you are obviously the one attacking me with stupid claims and getting all butthurt. It's ok to defend your opinions but you always defend Joe with 30 replys to some other person...you telling me that it aint overreacting and acting like a groupie?
-
ima say this. wait till lunatic hears you discussing whether TIs a big name artist or not. Lol
Worldwide Em, 50 and Kanye are the biggest this decade. If outkast were performing and releasing more stuff theyd be up there. Nelly probably was at the start of the decade but fell off. TI, Wayne, Luda and even Jay werent HUGE internationally compared Kanye etc.

no, Rae's album was awesome & i would go out on a limb & say that you believe it's a top album of the year, if not album of the year.
but what kind of influence does Raekwon supply in 2009? he hasn't been influencial since 1997 lol.
point being, it doesn't have to do with making good music, they're irrelevant.
i WOULDN'T say OB4CL2 is any less of a great album than it is because it holds no "influence" to this generation. (i only mentioned OB4CL2 because i believe it is one of the best albums of the year, i used one of the best albums to prove my point it doesn't affect to overall goodness or badness of the music)
all you guys do is bitch that Joe Budden isn't relevant, non-influencial & doesn't sell & those are the reasons he is "bad".
Joe & Raekwon are in the same boat in 2009, in terms of influence; but Joey isn't good because he isn't influencial? & you're going to front like Raekwon is?
some of your guy's logic make no sense.

Fifs spitting is on point on this track, and the sample sounds dope. Beat sounds like an improved version of "Everyday In The Streets". Ne-Yo does his thing, hopefully this track should do well, and we'll get to see BISD sooner rather than later!

When someone generally speaks of influence they don't limit it to the one single year. If you look at influence you're talking about the width of their career and it remains that Raekown has had a bigger influence on the game than Joe Budden has. Joey B due to both his own actions and others never got a chance to properly shine on a mainstream level. I'm sure if he had released the growth it would have been a game denter but it didn't happen so it's all speculation.
And, I agree with you message that influence doesn't translate into skill. I also agree with you that joey b is the better artist of the two.
fif better be on some They Burn Me shit for this album. I want to hear him self destructing and tracks like this don't hint at him being passionate or his new favorite word "aggressive"
-
^yeah, with a dark album name like "Before I Self Destruct", i don't want to hear about him tearing it up at the club. :-X

Now when 50 makes the same old single with that stale ass formula people hate.
Now when he's revamped his sound to be more modern, and worked with other artists/producers to make a diff sound single than "the formula", people are hating...
I like this song. It shows that 50 is versatile in his ability to work with different musicians and stay up-to-date with the rest of the industry.
If I heard another "Okay you're right" "i get it in" ("get up" was dope, i'll cosign that) I was gonna go insane.

I didn't hate on most of his recent material nor do I hate on Curtis. I have issues with his recent material and some of it I don't like because it borders corny.
Okay, You're Right could have been much doper if he had written more in line with the title of the song - i.e a diss track towards his fans and people's expectations of him.
I don't expect 50 to play to the industry fads.

Is he wrong though? It was only this time 2 years ago 50 had a smash with "Ayo Technology" and people were hating on that when it dropped, but look what that achieved. If It track is pushed right it could do well, Fif knew his formula wasn't working so he tried to revamp his sound, it's not what I want to hear necessarily but if it gets the job done and gets his album out I'm happy with that. His fflows on point on the joint too

i just thought it was funny, since The Leak often bickers about content.
